Ahhh....the old BN green color scheme after the GN/Burlington "marriage". Lovely work. Your woodworking talents amaze me because I cannot do things with wood like you can. Keep up the great work.
Amazing. I love the way you keep Elan involved. One thing for sure, you will know everything about that locomotive. I am really appreciative of your efforts to keep us all informed.
0:28 ah hah that'll be a 24 volt engine you'll be using, with the batteries wired in series like that. What I'm more interested in though is the placement of and type of electric motor, and how it is connected to the axle/axles for driving the loco. Which video is (or will) that be in ? Cheers from New Zealand.
Where did you get the lights for the Plum Cove electric locomotive? I am building a loco right now, and they look like they might be a nice fit for locomotive!!! Thanks, Jim Bolen--------------
Hi! We’re taking our chances with these guys. We have yet to truly test them out but they’ll connect directly to our Plum Cove board (24V) and we’ll share a video once we know they’re good. Thanks for asking and good luck with your build! Alpinetech PLB12M 12mm 1/2" 24V... www.amazon.com/dp/B07N979Z47?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Thanks, again! We were working on headlights today, actually! They’ll be fired up soon!
Nice! Something a little different from the usual box cabs seen on the Plum Cove.

So why did you decide to build your own cab and not go with the complete kit from plum cove.
Because we wanted to customize.
