When engine is starting it is running on idle ok.the moment we give acceleration,engine is stopping,not taking any load.one thing noticed,the inlet holes,four nbrs,closed,engine is accelerating.what may b the reason,can u advise please.my scooty Pep,I cannot use now.of air filter.
you can use petrol or kerosene to clean the filter. after that you can put few drops of lub oil or engine oil on it. squeeze the sponge so that oil will spread. put back on.
What is that extra tube connecting from engine? That tube on my scooty has been damaged but there is no noticeable difference in performance. Any inputs?
It's a sponge. Normally ppl do petrol wash. 2-3 times. It gets clean and ready to go. If you have a plenty of time you can wash with detergent and water. It removes oil, dirt ect. Make sure you dry completely before fixing.
Yes you can use it to clean air filter. U can use petrol also. After cleaning squeeze air filter sponge to remove excess oil. Check your silencer is good. Any hole in it.
