It's not for nothing but sometimes you have to give gta 5 or Cyberpunk a point. Not always to gta 4. Also the physics are exaggerated in many ways in gta 4.
Man everything is bad in that game, it's unoptimized, movement is whacky and rough, visuals were dull (they could have included more levels of Contrast and saturation in display settings but they didn't), missions were repetitive, no checkpoints system till then even it was introduced in mobile GTA games, as you said, much exaggerated physics, exaggerated car mechanics and handling, lack of many features, in every mission, you had same task with captions about go there and kill them or chase him or spy him to his whole route. But people are just blind and they were blinded by nostalgia and they will despite of all things, say that GTA 4 had everything great and it was a masterpiece.
Only story was good, GTA 5's story was also good but it gets weak as it reaches the climax that's why it looks weak compared to GTA 4. GTA 4's ending was strong and villain's ending was justifying unlike GTA 5's villains who had great potentials but they were not killed in the way that could seem more appealing, they were killed like some normal bad NPCs in GTA Games.

I agree with you two that GTA IV is not perfect. But there are many nice things in that game that GTA V (and other games) are completely missing.
This is a huge problem! Just imagine for a moment that many things you really like in GTA V will be completely missing in GTA VI.
(And there is a real chance for this... but let's hope...)
When I first played through GTA V there were 2 things inside my head:
1. This is a masterpiece! Wow how awesome graphics! How realistic clothing! There are so many details!
2.
- Wait. Now I can't buy a hotdog?! Can't even get into a fast food restaurant?! (It's always closed)
- NPC's now just "sad" when raining? Really? No umbrellas, no jackets, not a single realistic reaction?
- And (maybe this is a personal preference but..) the driving physics feels dull for me compared to GTA IV.
For me the best driving physics would be between GTA IV and GTA V.
But don't get me wrong. I like GTA games because there's something special in this series. When you play it you feel that these games are different!
One of the reasons for this is that you can hardly find unfinished and missing gameplay elements. Everything is there that is necessary for you to be immersed, and feel that it's world is "alive". The most games nowadays are full of disappointing elements that constantly reminds you that it's only just a game!
I wish and hope Rockstar can keep GTA's unique feeling in the next games too! This is why I want to emphasize the things important for me to achieve this goal!
@@PlayGroundComparisons Plus one thing that make me mad about GTA 6, was cops. 6th sense, allways knew where you are (!!!!!), and they was just firing at you. Shoot to kill. Not even trying to arrest you.
Handling in V is worse - way more responsive, but gravitation is out of this planet - what allways look silly is driving on curbs - there is no susupension on this world that would behave like this.
Next thing are hot dogs, aka mobile first aid. There was much more option to get your health refill in GTA IV - in GTA V?

4 was better in everything except optimisation and graphics.
GTA IV is much better in first person view than I thought! The cockpit view gives so much adrenalin! :)

GTA 4 didint had interior camera for cars nor first person mode. You showed modded game.
Of course you need a small mod for GTA IV's First-persion view:

However this mod doesn't change anything in the game, just the view's perspective.
So effectively everything you see in the video is already in the game!
