Jcraft t2 or this clifton jm 1 its my choice guitar but i choose jcraft t2 because of the looks and rarity but the sound is good according to reviews and has good built quality for an affordable price.
Make sure the nut is cut and setup correctly by your guitar guy lalo na for the size nung string para hindi kumakagat yung nut sa string para mag stay in tune
In all honesty, the Clifton is pretty good but you may have to do a little extra work to get that setup just right. Si jcraft naman lalo na now, their quality has improved a lot, Kaya less isip on how to make the guitar better. Also been a while since I last tried any Clifton guitars, so I can't comment sa mga newer ones. Salamat sa pag comment!!
May dumating recently na clifton Tele, di ko alam kung telecaster custom, yung owner had to sand the body daw sa may neck area kasi makapal daw yung body at naka usli, then had to work on sa frets kasi medyo uneven at may mga matatalim na parts. Pinalitan namin ni owner ang pickups to wilkinson kasi parehas kami na parang bitin yung tunog sa stock. Naging okay naman ang kinalabasan nung guitar. Good project guitar
@@emmanuelganzon3722 ah iba nga pala yun. Regular na tele ito. Pero if you get that, i highly highly recommend replace agad sa electronics na magandang klase is the 3 way toggle switch and the jack. The 4 potentiometers are pretty decent naman.

I've been looking for a Gretsch electro pro jet with bigsby but I couldn't find it so I bought this guitar instead after watching this demo because of 2 reasons: TV jones type pups and Bigsby trem but the killer part of this guitar...is the juicy solo towards the end of this video.thanks bro keep it up and God bless!

How are the alignment of the strings to the neck? My clift tele, 1st strings to close to the edge of the neck, I had to replace the bridge saddles with slightly narrower ones. 1 cm each.
Good day sir! Have you tried their recent Clifton Pioneer series strats or baka may dumaan na diyan sa shop niyo? Planning to use one as a base for project guitar because of the nice colorway but I don't see any credible review on it
Sadly wala dumadaan sa shop, pero so far so good the Clifton that i tried just needed some real TLC to get the ball rolling. Pero sana may dumaan parin para masubukan
Lazada sells it for 7980. Neck is only thing i don't like that its a matching finish on the guitar, so when you sweat, back of the neck get slippery, i guess steel wool can dull the finish, but i wish they just made it wood finish.

Thanks for watching. Personally, i don't really mind what the guitar is called, i prefer these pickups over jms. Not a fan of the noise of single coils that much. I wonder what the real TV jones pickups would sound though, if these sound good what more the real thing.
@@MicoOng Me neither. I wasnt after the name "jm". By my question. I meant does is have that pure, uncompressed sound of jm. I was contemplating on purchasing either that or the one with shiny single coil. I ended up ordering the latter kasi natakot ako baka hindi makuha yung JM sound so i just opted for the tele-ish. I really drooled over that one though, especially the bigsby. Woo . And the price more than sulit!
If you have it setup correctly there won't be any tuning issues. Correct nut slot to string size very important. Common mistake of people is just slapping new strings and not knowing of the slots are a correct size and depth

The vintage telecaster is the traditional tele build, the jm1 has those pickups inspired by TV jones and has a bigsby. Ako personally the JM1 kasi its not a common guitar. And medyo temperamental ang pagtono pag nagka bigsby, and nakakainis mag restring kasi need mo shoot yung string ball ends sa parang post nung trem. . Kung less hassle sa restring and tuning, go for the vintage tele. :)
Yes paps..di mo alam kung ano quality, di mo rin alam gaano katagal nakalagay, so yan una ko papalitan kasi di ko ron alam kung yung gauge eh tama ba sa akin, and kadalasan di maganda ang tunog.

Japanese import guitar are okay, just like any other guitar, you gotta try them out to check if it will be part of your arsenal of guitars, but if in the back on your mind you'd sell it... Then don't go for it and look for something that will catch your fancy.
Sulit siya. Pickups may konting ingay kahit mini humbucker. Pinagiisipan ko nga ng what if maghanap ako nang orig na pickups niya, yun nga lang may kamahalan pala yung pickups. Ok siya na guitar. Kahapon may red na dumaan sa shop, same din ginawa ko, change nit, fret level at setup. Ayus na siua ulit laruin at masaya yung owner.

Yeah, madalas sa tuning problem starts sa nut na di Tama ang pag cut. Tagal ko bago na gets bakit lagi nawawala sa tono.

As a gretsch guitar player. Im really eyeing this one. Cause of its matching headstock. I just wish they make a single coil version.
Its actually a nice guitar, just have to set it up right and definitely change the plastic nut. A single coil version would actually be nice.

Very light siya, madali ma dent siya pero good tonewood siya as per marami nagsabi. Kaya madalas may solid color finish to protect the wood

Suprisingly when i had the guitar it was aligned naman, had to replace the nut and level out the frets kasi sorbang uneven and sharp

I suggest bring it to your favorite luthier, malamang need lagyan nang wooden shim sa neck pocket para mag tilt pataas yung neck.

I am not to keen sa jcraft x tele, its either a clifton or jcraft vintage. Both guitars just need a complete setup aa level and a polishing.
