Hello, I have 33mm one viltrox lense, and itu sometime doing like searching focus often and often, just like confuse to focusing, in this case, Do I need to update the firmware to re solved the problem?
So appreciate this video and am requesting help. I have the Viltrox 85mm 1.8 (VERSION ONE) and can only find the newest firmware (for the version 2). I have looked endless to find a active link, but could not. Any suggestions? ALso send email to Viltrox...waiting for response. Using the cable (tried 3 so far) and nether on my Windows PC or MAC has recognized the lens; so, I'm trying to just download the firmware, but unable to find exact one for the Version One camera. Suggestions?
when we download the firmware, should we download the latest version directly? or should we download the version next to the current version of the lens? Thank you !

My new Viltrox 23mm ef-m doesn't show up when plugged into Mac or PC. I am having the same exposure problem you mentioned when wide open. I'm going to have to return this lens and get a replacement and try again.

Hi. Just purchased the viltrox 33mm f1.4, ef-m, for canon m50mkii. When using screen, the apature is possessed, and jumps about from f1.4 to f16. If I close screen and use viewfinder, it works fine. What's going on ??
one strange issue is that every attempt to send the *.dat file to the lens results in an unexpected error. Simply press skip and the upgrade will proceed as expected.
I just got a 23mm EF-M and connected it to a computer but windows doesn't recognize it. I tried on 2 computers and with 2 USB cables. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Why doesn't the computer see the lens?
Same. I'm plugging it into the same USB port with the same cables that I use to transfer data between my phone and my PC, but nothing is recognized by the computer. UPDATE. Tried another cord and port and it worked.

did you try a different cable, different usb port? could be the lens but might as well rule out other variables
