School students always have expectations to meet. If you're meant to be in form or lesson at a particular time, then you need to be there at that time. Plus the teacher didn't even know he was helping his mate out, she asked him twice why he was late, the first time he didn't answer, the second time he muttered that he didn't know.
You know, it genuinely wouldn't surprise me if the kid on crutches was late for form and his teacher completely ignores his crutches and yells WHY ARE YOU 1 MINUTE LATE FOR FORM YOU ARE A COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT TO THE SCHOOL!!!!

Yes I totally understand that Robby Joe was trying to help a friend out, but if it’s making him late and getting him into hot water as it were, then is it really worth it? Sometimes, you have to be a little bit ruthless in order to get ahead and if that means leaving someone else behind then so be it. Even if it’s someone who’s struggling. This may sound incredibly harsh but it’s a sad reality that we all have to deal with I’m afraid.
Literally had the same thing as Robbie. I got a detention for helping my friend in crutches as the lift was broken. Like, I wasn’t just gonna walk past her and ignore her.
Honestly I'm from the US, I'm 37 and have a 17 and 7 year old, and I'll tell you now these teachers seem to care SO MUCH, our teachers here can't seem to be bothered to actually care about the kids, the ones that do are FEW AND FAR BETWEEN. I think they were extremely supportive of Tom, here they would have just sent him home from the get-go like he is not our problem. Good on these educators!
Schools are way too scared of being sued in the U.S. The U.K teachers can be real, you even hear some mild cursing and tough love. In the U.S. everything's down to protocol and people will definitely twist that. "You were approximately 1 foot away from the child and said XYZ, now you're facing disciplinary action because it's hindered their ability to progress" or such and such a thing. Even if you meant well, if you didn't follow that protocol, you're doomed. Unfortunately, teachers are too scared to get too close to kids.

Generally because they act pally with the kids and get a good relationship with them, so don't actually have to deal with them being disruptive or cunt-ish that often. The kids like them so do as they're supposed to. But if the form teacher had to get them to do work and be a disciplinarian among another 15-20 kids, i'm sure they'd be pulling their hair out as well lol.

See I was helping my mate in a wheelchair and I got told off for helping her during a fire drill. I helped her come downstairs 😂 and the substitute sent me to detention and told me to not come back to school for 2 days. And I was like I'm sorry but do you want to see her fly downstairs and break her bones even more🤦🏻♀️ and SHE SAID WELL SHE SHOULD USE THE ELEVATOR! And then I just walked home and my mum phoned the school and the substitute has never been seen again😂
But what was funny is when I was highschool this girl had to have a chair that she sat in and they basically just flung her down the stairs (basically) she got fed up of being flung so she flings her self down the stairs instead😂 it's well funny
having a step-brother myself, i couldn't even imagine what tom was feeling at the time. he said it himself even though aren't completely the same blood we treat each other as if we did. such a shame, sorry for your loss if you ever read this.
I lost my step dad when I was in year 10 and it hurt, but going to school was the best coping mechanism for me. Sometimes you need that normality to keep you going.
Going to college the day after the Queens funeral, my friends found it very heartbreaking. I’ll never forget how heartbreaking my Woodys grief actually is and now he has to deal with the passing of a S club 7 member as I grieve
Notverycool its about mentality. If they do it once and do not get any problems doing it, they will keep doing it. I work in a school and i was a big problem kid myself so i know how it goes.
Notverycool How are they supposed to learn basic social manners and rules if they don’t enforce it, the parents sometimes don’t give a damn or are too busy.
It's almost like after the funeral, they just automatically think he'll be ok after that. It'll always be hard for him now. Poor fricking lad, I feel so sorry for him.
I hate that teacher in so many ways. 1. She repeatedly asked Robby (or whatever his name is) to tell her why he was late but when he tried to, she butted in and kept shouting at him 2. She was full on shouting at him but when another teacher started walking up the hall she got all nice and started talking really calm?!
@@Silver_Specter Yeah but every student is different. I think many kids are better giving than taking. They put on a face where they're tough because they're in control, but when someone bites back it threatens them and they don't know how to handle it.

I honestly wanted to cry for him man. I couldnt imagine being in that situation
The fact that those kids haven’t been usted of some kind of autism or ADHD and are punished like that is so unjust
I thought that 5 mins into the episode!
My stepbrother died last night...
Wanna clrisp?
CHEERleaders YT that aint funny he’s my big couisin and it is very sad what happened
Izzi Walkz sureee
LewisMorrey I’m not lyin we were all so devastated RIP RYAN
@izzi walks lol
Simon Van der linde dont be Dk insensitive
Can relate to Tom loads as I was in Secondary School when my dad died, is a painful process to go through especially at that age.
Sorry man
“THAT WAS ALMOST PERFECT ...LIKE MEE”
Abigail Ferris i love how you came back weeks later to add to your story
@@scarlett2629 I forgot about it sorry 🥺
I’ve never seen a teacher get so mad over someone forgetting a French book in year 7
✨grammar schools ✨
They really need to chill lol
@@june550 oh 🤣 I went to a private school so I wouldn’t know lol
"she's not on her lunch she just eats all the time"
Ok but same
We all have to agree that Robbie was being a helpful lad. He was helping his mate on crutches get to class. Aren’t we encouraged to help people!
I’m not going to lie, I would die for tom🥺
Ria Back he was being a twat after a bit tho
Rafael his step brother passed away one evening and he still went into school the next day
No you’d not
He is my step uncle and his step brother is my uncle
@@yourmum7096 SCREW THAT
Robby is a troublesome student but come on. A teacher is making him cry over doing a good deed helping a kid with crutches
having a step-brother myself, i couldn't even imagine what tom was feeling at the time. he said it himself even though aren't completely the same blood we treat each other as if we did. such a shame, sorry for your loss if you ever read this.
Educating Yorkshire, more like inside set 8.
lmao funniest cmment ever lol
Gammon 😂
Take away 5
Gammon
Absolutely hilarious.
Mate its not set 8 tats set 9 stuff right there XD
If Tom were to shave his head, he'd be Al Murray, Pub Landlord.
This principal is one of the best I’ve seen . If more principals were like him school would be amazing.
La-Chantae Russell headteacher not principal
Princess of Wales Idek anymore but yeah he’s very patient.
yeah... no.
don't even get me started on him.
Who else was bored during quarantine so they watch these types of videos😎😎
I lost my step dad when I was in year 10 and it hurt, but going to school was the best coping mechanism for me. Sometimes you need that normality to keep you going.
Going to college the day after the Queens funeral, my friends found it very heartbreaking. I’ll never forget how heartbreaking my Woodys grief actually is and now he has to deal with the passing of a S club 7 member as I grieve
41:27 Robbie talking about his teacher is the cutest thing !!
I agree
Never did I think one of these episode would ever make me cry
I love how all “trouble” kids Have a teacher that they Respect and The teacher Cares over the child
she was so mean to that boy who was helping his mate :(
I will never understand why teachers get so bloody raging if a kid is like 5 minutes late, they are KIDS
Notverycool its about mentality. If they do it once and do not get any problems doing it, they will keep doing it. I work in a school and i was a big problem kid myself so i know how it goes.
@@bageda3109 totally agree 👍
Notverycool How are they supposed to learn basic social manners and rules if they don’t enforce it, the parents sometimes don’t give a damn or are too busy.
@@fionnmaccumhaillsmammy296 kids need discipline some way
@@fionnmaccumhaillsmammy296 But he was helping a student who was on crutches, isn't that a worthy thing to praise him for?
It's almost like after the funeral, they just automatically think he'll be ok after that. It'll always be hard for him now. Poor fricking lad, I feel so sorry for him.
Its so nice to see that teachers can actually care.
Miss urine lol
144hz kris I was think that to😂
144hz kris this is why I came to the comments😂
It’s Miss Uren... not great but yeah
@@ItzChuppa its miss urine now lol
@L D mate if you're going to correct people for no point at least do it right
"I was thinking that too."
2:46 aw bless that face sums up what I felt about school!😂😂😂😂
robie seems like the kid to act hard but if someone stands up to him he runs crying to the closest teacher
He was only a Year 7 boy cut him some slack.
@@jdbruiser i was a year 7 at one point and I didn't act like that
@@Silver_Specter Yeah but every student is different. I think many kids are better giving than taking. They put on a face where they're tough because they're in control, but when someone bites back it threatens them and they don't know how to handle it.
I am on hey school holiday and I'm watching school videos. 😂
Haleema Iqbal haha lol me to
I'm sitting in my bedroom at uni and i haven't been in school for 3 years 😂
Its coronavirus off school time now
Haleema Iqbal it’s fun experiencing the tortures of school by watching other kids experience it
How’s school right now for u
I feel soo sorry for Tom when his step-brother died, his step-brother will always be in a better place 😭😭❤️❤️

“ I’ve naughty in science” I love how he says that with pride
It's tough that tom went to school next day after his brother died, but I wasn't too different after my mum passed. Week later I started year 10 because I honestly just wanted to hang out with my friends and have something in my life that was normal.
I really enjoy watching this show. I am American, so sometimes their accent is a little thick, or they use expressions that I am unfamiliar with, but I think the teachers are doing a great job with the students!
I don’t see why that teacher was so harsh with him for being 5 minutes late, he walked in and said sorry miss. He was trying to help his friend.
i used to always be on time but i could never be arsed with the last lesson so i would leave 1 hour early that's until the school police officer put a stop to it
I wondered if she apologised off screen. I thought it was very unreasonable when I saw it first time.
I feel sorry for Robbie-Joe. This school haven't really done much for him.
Toms step brother: **dies**
Tom: wanna crisp
“Don’t cry” after you yell at the poor kid for being late by a few minutes. I can see why this school was failing. They devote so much unnecessary attention to kids who only need a small push and seem to really fail those who need help.sitting there all smug after yelling at him. I think he needed genuine help
It's crazy how much mishandling of ADHD there is in our education system. It's really quite sad.
I felt for Tom’s Mam too, bless them all, not easy on anyone I expect 😢
Never seen a teacher so pissed about a student being 5 minutes late 💀.
Tom must’ve been devastated after the death of his step brother losing someone you love is very brutal
