“I’m STILL Their DAD!” Caitlyn Jenner On Parenting The Kardashians

- Fox News contributor and ex-Olympian Caitlyn Jenner joins Piers Morgan to discuss trans athletes competing in women's sports. This comes after the world's swimming governing body Fina and Rugby League have decided to ban transgender athletes competing in international women's competitions. Both Piers and Caitlyn show their support for the decision, with Caitlyn telling us "we must protect women's sports". She goes on to say she is "thankful" for Lia Thomas for sparking a much-needed conversation about woman's sports. Piers then brings up the fact that many of her daughters including Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, social media influencers from the show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, wished Caitlyn a Happy Father's Day. Caitlyn tells how she gave her daughters permission to call her Dad and says they are very "respectful" around her gender transition. She also brings up that things like pronouns don't bother her, as her own mother still slips up and calls her Bruce Jenner by accident.

If there is one person that has an inside knowledge of the subject of trans athletes it's Caitlin "Bruce" Jenner, former Olympic triathlon winner. So glad to see this interview and that women are not being run out of sports!

@@tehdouglas1 Don't be freaked out sweetie. This is the new normal for me too. I'd never heard of gender dysphoria until a few years ago. Do I understand it ? Not entirely, I'm still learning at aged 56 about all kinds of things. I base myself with the starting point of gut feeling..do I feel that a person is being genuine or not. Caitlyn is imho. She doesn't take the easy route. I like and admire that. 🇬🇧 ❤

I like Caitlyn. And sometimes I like Piers. What I like the most is how respectful they are with each other. Trans or not, people are firstly human beings, and therefore mutual respect and politeness should be the way for everyone to interact.

This person is the sane voice of transwomen. Something she said in an interview once really hit me. If the decision to ban transwomen from competing against biological women was rooted in transphobia why is there no similar movement to ban transmen from competing with biological males?

I really respect Caitlyn, that's how Transparents used to be in the 80s and 90s, no bitchy attitude, just love, acceptence and easiness. If there were enough Trans athletes it would be an exciting catagory of Transwomen against Transwomen and Transmen against Transmen but people with more testosterone shouldn't be able to compete with someone with half their strength basic. 🤘🏽🥳

There are more Trans people out there speaking logic and truth. Blaire White is pretty great. Plus, there is a HUGE group of LGBQ+ people who are also on the side of truth. I happen to be one of them. We have to be fair and we have to protect the rights and individuality of biological women and men. I've gone back to edit my comment. I left out biological men and their personal struggles which is completely unfair. I have to work on that.

People can say what they like about how she begun her transition , uneducated etc, but I love the fact that caitlyn has transitioned but it's also keeping it real when it comes to this subject, and not jumping on the pc bandwagon.. She clearly has a huge respect for sports and always has from birth so I'm glad she hasn't changed it hidden opinions with regards to it just because she changed from man to female.

I love her point of view. I think immaturity and emotion has gotten the better of this issue because if you’d want to be a women/man surely you’d respect them enough correct?.. Trans men and women are not men and women. They are trans men and women and though it is sad, to never really be a woman or man according to society on technicality. We’re calling you he and she, I just pray more consideration be brought to light on this issue. We do not hate you, or want to disrespect you but in respecting you we cannot disrespect the gender you are transitioning into becoming because a woman is defined to have certain organs and so is a male. A mother to a father a Le well. We all just need to continue to be respectful of one another and know the boundaries of which that respect comes. For women, we could easily also scream and shout against trans calling themselves she, but we haven’t.. give us our physical sportsmanship so we protect our abilities as well

The Canadian womens olympic hockey team (gold medal winning) played midget boys (age 14) and was outscored 30-2 over 3 games.....and the boys weren't allowed to bodycheck...so the differences are vast, vastly different

I completely agree with this decision. However, I am now worried for our kids. I am worried that this crazy radical group is going to turn their attention to convincing kids to go through gender transition. I really would like to see vulnerable pre-pubescent kids protected.

Respectfully, part of the problem in the first place is accepting men can become women (or vice versa). All I see is a man pretending to be (or look/act like) a women. He is a man. He's not a she. He never will be. Ever.
