Losing a dad at such a young age is very tough however, the girls were very lucky to have a good father figure but Bruce transitioning and not telling the girls would definitely be tough for the girls because they probably felt excluded and abandoned buttt Bruce was probably just afraid. She probably didn’t want the girls to judge her.
and, in addition, had had decades of keeping it to himself about his feelings. and anyone going through anything life changing is entitled to some inner turmoil which can have consequences for others.. itwas a by product of his struggles.. that is not being a victim as someone above tried to claim. I like how this convo went and I believe each has a good heart. However, when Bruce transitioned to Caitlin, I felt her empathy for the family went right out the window. She felt the need to do a media tour and write a book before everyone had a chance to heal or even get to know Caitlin. I'm all for living your life and being true to who you are and if that is what you want to do then do it, but don't sit here and be this person one minute and a diva the next. That's not cool.
