Man I took a Gen 2 alternator bracket off a 93 F-150 5.0, modified it for Gen 3 alternator with a 93 mustang timing cover, 86 5.0 valve covers, 86 water pump pulley, 92 water pump, haha all on a 1974 351W with 71-72 heads yeah Frankenstein build. Before I forget what throttle linkage did you use for carb swap?
I'm having that voltage drop issue on my 94 sn95, new alternator and battery, so random the car will be running fine and out of no where will go to stall, I've changed tye iac mass air flow not sure what else to do!
I just emailed Speed Doctor Components! 1. Allows taller valves covers 2. You can see more of the passenger side head 3. It’s cheaper than replacing the stock tensioner pulley, AC delete pulley and smog pump delete pulley that I was going to do 4. Less things on the belt 5. Cleaner look
Modern Alternators will have zero problems with water being sprayed directly on them while in operation. It's a myth, and there are multiple videos proving that this is not a issue. In fact the 2003-2004 Cobra alternators are mounted on the lower side of the engine from the factory.
Can't wait to build a motor for my 98 gt
Dumb question here… it looks like the tensioner pulley had to be removed… how do you get the belt on without it?
Setting up links for all the parts would be helpful.

Check all you ground cables and make sure the cables don’t have any corrosion or breaks also check positive side
Thanks!
Absolutely 👍🏼
You should be fine in the rain. The terminator has theirs mounted low like that.
That’s what I was thinking as well! 👍🏼
Where did you get the A/C and smog delete kits from??
I just took them off. 👍🏼

thicker cable is better for current flow. less resistance = less heat.
Yes that’s the words I was looking for 😂
I didnt get notifications for the past 2 videos. I did this one.
TH-cam hates me! 😂
So is it 351w swapped already?
No I wish it was though, there’s some stuff I want to do first before 351w swap

Correct
OK, the title is misleading. It should be "Your Push Rod 5.0 May Need This Mod." This mod will not work on any 4.6L SN95.
Sn95 gets more reach than pushrod 5.0 as a title or I would’ve titled it differently
First..or maybe second? Lmao
