Great video of the artist edition Michael! One of my all time favorite runs of UXM from my childhood as well. The rumor was that Paul Smith took a lot of time completing his layouts because he was a perfectionist - which led to some fill-in pages as you mentioned. the UXM#175 cover is an all-time classic. I had 2 versions of it (newsstand and comic shop) because the color was slightly different on them. I actually never read the alpha flight issues covered here. Thank you for uploading this.
Thanks for sharing this awesome book. Your commentary, as well as deep X-men knowledge made this a fun watch!! Now to squirrel together some cash for my own copy......
Dude - - I literally have chills!! And we're only a minute and a half in. (I feel like the guy in that viral video, who was teary-eyed, over a spool of wire.) p.s., and Thx for shouting out the Inkers! I luv *Mr. Smith* but those Inkers are my Heroes.
So much energy on each page. No decompressed storytelling then. We got our 60 cents worth, that’s for sure. Smith’s run on the book is legendary but way too brief.
Gorgeous!! ❤

You're the first channel I follow to get a hold of this edition. I also wish there were full issues of Paul Smith's work, but still awesome!

It was a sucker punch for me. Almost an out of body experience.
I think the inker that did that panel of Asgard could have been Simonson

Yeah it’s so crazy to see the 60 cent price. The price when I began collecting.
