I think you guys have found the perfect balance between personal stories and commentary on the show, so to me there's nothing to change. Good job girls. I don't usually listen to podcasts but this one is very enjoyable to listen to
I remember Jenna breaking down when Hannah saves her from the explosion in season 2 and talking about how she couldn’t see. That was a great scene. I hope they discuss it when they reach that episode!
I just wanna say that JSM provides a deeper and meaningful perception to this podcast that I really enjoy. Having his perspective in the field with his extensive knowledge was such a great addition to podcast. Huge TY to him!!! ALSO I wanted to touch on Caleb and Hanna's relationship speed that I didn't here the girls talk about. Aside from the fact that their connection was a step down to Allison's disappearance plot line and how the writers needed to expand on this more than anything, we have to think about how TV aired back when the show was on. Hanna and Caleb's relationship seems sped up but in reality the audience had to wait 3 weeks for this to happen. I think that the writers didn't think about how TV shows would of aired in this now streaming world which is super interesting to me! Def one of my fave episodes of the entire show.
27:18 I always felt that PLL's most political point was its subversion of the idea of the "perfect victim." Ali is a bad person, but she is still a victim of femicide, she is still a physically fragile 14 or 15 year old teenager who was in relationships with manipulative pedophiles, and nothing will change that. Spencer even told Jenna: "we loved her." Regardless of how cruel Alison was, the point is that she was loved, and she was still a human being, a living being. She left people behind. I always thought THAT was the point of Ali's villainy, but after the fifth season that (unfortunately) changed radically. It could have been a hell of a lesson in abusive friendships and feminist politics, if Ezra had been "A."
15:40 devils advocate coming in with the slip up. I’m pretty sure at this point her parents are both exclusively calling him Ezra instead of Mr Fitz knowing him on a professional level. With Byron and Ella being more casual parents as well it would totally be understandable for people to assume she hears him constantly being referred to as Ezra at home and made that slip up.
I think because he was labelled ‘the poster child for triathlon’, and he had a respectable girlfriend, so anyone who knew of him knew he should act in certain way so for him to be there it’s seemingly out of character.
Alison’s mom is in first episode and the first Jason. At the funeral. But both actors are replaced with different actors later. Hanna only got in the shower with Caleb because her mom came in the bathroom to get a phone charger. She was hiding that Caleb was in the shower. Plus it might only be 3 episodes (*which I will check until) they sleep together but let’s remember we don’t know how much time passed in the PLL world ?
This is my Thursday morning podcast (because I get paid on Wednesday so I go to Dunkin) 😊 I get up at 8, turn it on, get ready for work, go to dunkin and play it over my car speakers, and then go to work and it usually ends right as I’m parking my car ❤ it makes my Thursdays the best!
Ian was there at the frat party cause he was supposed to still be in college in that flashback lol. They were there because Alison wanted to get closer to Ian.
Can I ask you guys what your favorite still frames/shots are on this show? I’ve been rewatching this series and I’ve Been pausing on frames that I think have good photographic composition. There’s a scene where Jason and Garrett are sitting in front of Jason’s house and the way the shot is framed is legit really cool. There’s also a scene where Spencer is crying in a later episode and the way that shot is framed is really interesting, what are your memories working with the director of photography/cinematographer for the show?
Sooooo i know you film all of these in advance, but in the next round of pod cast videos could you possibly bring one of the writers on to ask them questions? That would be SUCH a interesting episode to see! ❤
lol Tammin is missing the plot of the entire episode … ‘A’ KILLED THE RAT TO FRAME THE GIRLS LMAO They thought Ian was A and that was the murder weapon but really it was just A manipulating them like always
Also Ian was in college at the time (I think according to the weird PLL timeline) but maybe not 🤔 Omg this whole time I thought Ian was in the frat but now I’m thinking maybe he was just a predator at a frat party.
Ian was part of the NAT Club which is why he went to frat parties that his buddy's were at and he liked to make videos which is why he liked to tape allison and why he recorded with her in the woods. Also im pretty sure at the time during the flashback it was the perfect time for ian to be at frat parties bc that was with people his age, but noel and the girls were definitely not meant to be ther bc they were way under age.
they thought Ian was A and found out he went to Hilton head at the same time as Ali, so A planted a trophy from Hilton head that said the time they went and put blood on it to make it look like the murder weapon and Ian look like the killer. The trophy ended up being fake, no tournament that week, and the blood was from a rat, not human.
There's definitely alot of plot holes where they missed things or just changed it hoping no one would realize or question certain things. That's the only thing that bothered me with the show. That and I think A could have ended up being someone much more interesting than an "evil twin" lazy writing on that one in my opinion
Sorry Tammin but 16 isn't legal, age of consent just means that at that age, u can do it with other 16 n 17 yo's but that's it, no one older , its still legally considered p/d-philia if someone 18+ does it with someone under n very much illegal, idk if u were 'groomed', I wasn't there but kinda sounds like it, think about it like this .. would you date a 17yo? Lol
Probably because of potential scheduling conflicts or not to create them. Tammin has a lot of projects going and travels a LOT, certainly. It's probably a way to do justice to this podcast while they have other things going.
I think you guys have found the perfect balance between personal stories and commentary on the show, so to me there's nothing to change. Good job girls. I don't usually listen to podcasts but this one is very enjoyable to listen to
Thank you!
Totally agree ❤

I don’t normally comment on YT videos. The exchange about the flute - hilarious. This whole episode made me laugh haha
Y’all are so funny! I loved hearing about the behind the scenes. Great episode!
I love the personal stories along with talking about PPL ❤
“It was the size of a hatchback!” That killed me 😂

Lindsey doing the Super Mario Bros jingle is my new favorite thing
Great episode ladies!
Curious why it would be weird for Ian to be at the frat party? Wasn’t he supposed to be college aged at the time of that flashback?
That’s what I was under the impression of at the time
I thought the same. Surely it's the other way around and it's weird for the girls and Noel etc to be at a colleage party as 14/15 yr olds?
I think because he was labelled ‘the poster child for triathlon’, and he had a respectable girlfriend, so anyone who knew of him knew he should act in certain way so for him to be there it’s seemingly out of character.

The podcasts are so much louder than when I’m watching the show, which is much quieter in volume
You guys are literally the best duo
Loved this one guys!
This episode was absolutely hilarious at times

It’d be cool in the future if you could get the actress for shauna or Sydney since you both had scenes with them
We need a live video so we can participate with you guys 😂
Love this Podcast you two Ladies are so fantastic!!
Do not even get me started on it being acceptable for men to be shirtless but not women. That is one of my biggest pet peeves
I love this podcast it deserves more attention
You guys should get someone from the writers room on the show
When is tamming reveling all the drama of her days in Hannah Montana?? 🫣😸
Alison’s mom was in the first episode at the funeral but she wasn’t the same woman they recasted her later
Ian was there at the frat party cause he was supposed to still be in college in that flashback lol. They were there because Alison wanted to get closer to Ian.

Sooooo i know you film all of these in advance, but in the next round of pod cast videos could you possibly bring one of the writers on to ask them questions? That would be SUCH a interesting episode to see! ❤
Caleb and Hannah in the shower was a huge thing for me when I was younger first watching PLL
lol Tammin is missing the plot of the entire episode … ‘A’ KILLED THE RAT TO FRAME THE GIRLS LMAO
They thought Ian was A and that was the murder weapon but really it was just A manipulating them like always
She’s insane
Also Ian was in college at the time (I think according to the weird PLL timeline) but maybe not 🤔
Omg this whole time I thought Ian was in the frat but now I’m thinking maybe he was just a predator at a frat party.
💚🤣"FULL LUNCHABLE!"😂💚
I’d love you to get Lucy or Ian to talk about what they thought about Ezria
Love both of you!
Lunchables are so good! Heat up the pizza ones in the microwave and they are amazing!

A rat killed her? Nahhh, A is definitely a raccoon IYKYK
About getting rid of your v-card, same Lindsay, same 😭😭😭
This makes me want to start my own podcast 😂✨💕
I need more JSM!! 🫶🏻
JSM is always a win
Ian was in college in the flash back that’s why he was at a frat party
Will we see the cinematographer or director of photography for this show, on the podcast?
Lindsay, my love, we need to have a bevvie. You are my people
There's definitely alot of plot holes where they missed things or just changed it hoping no one would realize or question certain things. That's the only thing that bothered me with the show. That and I think A could have ended up being someone much more interesting than an "evil twin" lazy writing on that one in my opinion
I still eat lunchables… the nachos are the best haha.
lol guess you guys missed it but Allison’s mom is in the pilot at the funeral. The actress changes later though.
There’s a lot of TMI in this one podcast episode😮
Can you guys talk about when Tammin was on Hannah Montana and how that was?
Wait, are you guys changing outfit for every new episode you shoot on the same day??? haha
Ali’s mum is in the pilot.
Lol
Just curious, why do you batch the episodes?
I would imagine for editing purposes
What does that mean
@@User34451 they record several episodes at one time.
Probably because of potential scheduling conflicts or not to create them. Tammin has a lot of projects going and travels a LOT, certainly. It's probably a way to do justice to this podcast while they have other things going.
Its cost effective :)
Wow I'm so early 🎉
The character Ian I think he worked at the college as a coach so he probably was at the party with his team I guess 🤷
24:53 to see Lindsey cover the Mario theme
Isn't it Looney Tunes?
My bf pressured me into loosing my virginity card when I get just 15
