If I could have a granddaughter of my own, I would pick you! I am 72 but try a lot of things you recommend and can use them on my mature skin. Thank you for your inner beauty and expression of truth in beauty products. You are a lovely beautiful woman. Don’t ever lose your humor. Hugs.
Yeh I've seen nothing but bad reviews for it, especially if you've been playing with PMG shadows, I'd be really worried about the stark contrast at that price-point.
@@SaplingTarot yeah for sure! I feel like PMG is in a different category of luxury makeup to Tom Ford, Gucci, etc. Like their aesthetics are so different, you can't expect a Tom Ford to perform like PMG because it wasn't meant to perform like that. Though I think if someone's gonna test to see if a brand is worth it, it'd probably be better to test something thats liked and hyped by fans of the brand. I really don't want Kackie to spend money on something that even fans of Tom Ford don't like
Give Tom a better chance at success with another palette. The new one is lackluster. Literally. The pans with the TF logo are the better formulations. Considered wet/dry. Might I suggest Nude dip? That's way wearable and closest to what you think you're getting with the Naked Pink. Super stoked for this luxury edition deep dive.
Hi Kackie, I am prone to KP (keratosis pilaris sp?) too, and somewhere I read that it is related to a vitamin D deficiency. It makes sense because it does always clear up for me in the summer. I started taking 5-10k iu of vitamin d daily last winter when it was bad and wouldn't you know, it cleared up. I'm not a medical professional, this is not medical advice, talk to your doctor, blah blah blah. But hey it's just some food for thought on something that finally worked for me. Love your channel and personality btw! You seem like you would be cool to hang with in real life.
I am a hairdresser for over 40 years and now I know why you are so good with color, and what looks good! Also, why we all spend our money on clothes and cars!! We love looking great, that's why our clients wanted us!!
I love how long most of your videos are! I could listen to you talk for hours cause you’re clearly highly intelligent and you articulate and describe whatever it is you’re talking about with such useful detail. It’s so refreshing!
Thank you for sharing your "cart" and opinions...I appreciate your testing the more expensive products as I feel that sometimes we are paying through the nose for products that lack the rue quality that we were hoping to get. I am retired on on a fixed income and have a difficult time watching You Tube channels where the person doesn't bat an eye to recommend $100 make-up items or very expensive almost elite skin products. I never see Lancome talked about anymore and currently now use Fenty and Clinique combinations on my face and I'm happy with both products. Appreciate that you tend to discuss more reasonably priced items but do include some expensive products, but not only expensive products. Hope you are doing well and staying safe!!
This is probably VIB sale 5 or 6 for me with you. I love how you are genuine and transparent and very aware of others’ needs. I don’t often hear influencers mention how their carts are for their business and how unrealistic it is. Really puts things in perspective for those of us not in the industry. Your descriptions are so helpful and I trust your recommendations a lot. Thanks for always going the extra mile to help us be informed consumers!
If you get a Tom Ford eye quad, I would recommend getting one in the wet/dry formula. I have Body Heat and loooooove it. If I remember correctly, Morgan Turner did a review on the colorway you are eyeing, and she was disappointed. I think it ends up being much lighter and more lackluster than it appears even in the pan
Agree with that Olaplex number 6 product. My HG for several years and I mix with 2-3 drops of the Olaplex oil. And I agree it lasts forever! One bottle usually lasts me the whole year snd my hair is almost to my waist. Just a pea size makes it so soft and frizz free.
I was not trying to get rid of kp at all but my doctor had me take a bath with 4 cups of epson salts everyday for 7 days to give my digestive system a rest and my kp completely went away. It’s cheap and amazing and worth a try.
Just a PSA that you may need to ease into epsom salt baths as they can cause magnesium overdose and make you sick. I haven't tried it for my KP though! Really just my feet. I'm going to try this asap
Oily skin here 🙋🏻♀️ it definitely impacts my blush wearing. A liquid or cream that fully dries down always lasts best for me (cloud paint, rare beauty soft pinch, etc). As much as I love a dewy, oily cream blush, they disappear on me after literally an hour. I always load the heck up on blush before I leave the house because it’ll fade anyway.
Have been building my cart for over a month lol it’s not realistic and needs some major trim down. So excited you are going to start a luxury review series. If you need inspiration and haven’t seen her channel I’ve been watching Michele Wang. She does not live in the same world I do $$$ lol but she likes light coverage foundation glossy lips etc. so it might be good inspo and she’s nice to watch. Just watched her top five products from top five brands this morning… all luxury.
I am PUMPED for this luxury venture - I’m a fairly minimalist individual but like to invest in quality products, especially lux ones for skincare and makeup 😍
This is my first VIB sale with you, but I look forward to many more! I just recently found you, and I have been loving your videos! I am looking forward to the Sticker Shock series as I do love a good luxury product.
I for sure am not into a $240 foundation but under $100 is cool. TF has some nice stuff, the new blushes are so pretty formula wise. Ordered one and returned it as it was too bright for my liking. Need to see them in store. I don’t know about that Gucci foundation, reviews are hit or miss. I also don’t think anyone comes to your channel for EL Double Wear looks. That’s not the vibe and that’s one of the reasons you are my fav!! Wearable fun pretty looks in real life.
I’m so tempted by the Rare foundation brush but I have to say that Beauty Pie’s concealer brush is similar to Rare’s concealer brush (and only $8!!), and way superior to Pat McGrath’s. Thank you for your recommendations!!
To answer the oily skin/cream blush question….yeah it’s an issue. If you wear your hair down, it’s going to stick to your face. Also, I don’t know the science of it, but oily skin triggers ridiculous shade oxidizing so my blush always ends up full orange no matter how it started.
Not skipping, but not really buying anything that I don't already use. Re-upping on some skincare that's running low, buying a candle and a fragrance, and that's probably it. It's kinda nice to go on the site or go in store and just make a bee line for all your favorites and not get swayed by "new." I do love that Caudalie spray and I haven't had it in a while so maybe you convinced me to get that as my one "splurge."
for the sale i’m repurchasing the kosas tinted oil, i wore it all through summer and ended up giving it to a friend because she loved how it looked. i’m also trying the powder, the fenty blush madison beer used in her vogue tutorial lolol, and a charlotte tilbury colour chameleon in smoky emerald!
My cart has that Gucci Bronzer in it too! And another lipstick of theirs, a matte formula this time (I love the satin/moisturizing/sheer formulas hard), more makeup by mario eyeliners, Rare Beauty's soft pinch blush in 'Grace' (it looks amazing on, I got a sample in my last Sephora order and it lights my olive face up) and rebuy of the ordinary retinol. Not much but I did get items here and there from other sales -- fragrances, another Pat McGrath blush, and the Tom Ford Traceless Foundation stick of course. Holding off on buying anything that I could get a better discount on elsewhere! Great video Kackie, and those recommendations were FLAWLESS.
Have you ever tried the Dior Airflash foundation? I tried it a long time ago and loved it. Yes, it was because of Tati. She did the Gucci bronzer recently you have and she wasn't wowed. Did you see it? Also, the YSL Touche Eclat All-In One Glow Foundation used to be one of my favorites. It would be a good fall/winter choice.
I am fairly new to your channel. This is my very first Sephora VIB Sale with you. lol. I’m a mom myself and I love your vibe and energy. Definitely here to stay Kackie! 🥰
I think you would love the chanel cc cream its amazing. Long lasting and not too much coverage. Slightly radiant. I don't know if it contains sunscreen though so double check on it. I bought the dior backstage recently again. I had 2 bottles in a wrong shade and I just wanted it in the correct shade it is my favorite
ahhh!! that Dior cool tone palette is currently in my cart! I think this is my 3rd or 4th VIB sephora sale i’ve spent watching your channel, I always appreciate your recommendations!
I'd be really curious to hear your thoughts on NU by YSL!!! I haven't heard much about it but it's interesting the way they are trying to appeal to a different market and I think you'd have some interesting thoughts!
I own the skin tint and it is lovely! It is a emollient gel texture that stays plump, bouncy, and juicy on the skin whilst still being lightweight and skin-like. Although in the medium/tan range I had a rough time finding a shade, I’ve heard some people with fairer skin having similar issues as well. Luckily it is sheer enough where you can go a little bit deeper or lighter without it being noticeable. I’ll also be getting the primer during the sale!
The Gucci foundation is surprisingly good. I really like the finish, it’s kind of a nice cross between a skin finish and a soft matte. It’s a nice break from all of the dewy foundations and skin tints that are popular right now. I tried their face powder too and it’s OK, the Kosas powder is way WAY better. The only thing I hate about the Gucci stuff is it’s fragranced and it’s a very perfumey type fragrance. It dissipates quickly but I’m always unpleasantly reminded of that when I apply it. I’m praying that the eyeshadows aren’t fragranced as well.
I’ve heard the Tom Ford wet dry eyeshadow formula is supposed to be much better than the regular. Looking forward to your thoughts on these luxury brands
Thanks for the Ren suggestion. I will check it out. I can confidently suggest CeraVe SA Lotion. It has helped me so very much. Especially my upper arms, elbows and shins. Plus, my hyaluronic emulsion for face has made my neck, décolletage, shoulders extra soft and smooth as well. Fun videos full of lots of info. New sub 👋😊 ~Thank You~
Ooh, I heard that specific Tom Ford quad is not all that great - the color payoff is supposedly not very impressive. Maybe I saw it in a Michele Wang review? 🤔 If you want one that has a better chance of impressing you, then get a quad in the wet-and-dry formula (the domed ones with the TF on each shade).
Yesssss, so ready for this. I think this is #6 or #7 depending on that one year they had a random third sale. I like how you do yours with your recommendations and your own cart.
Hey Kackie, love your videos so much. I feel like it would be really cool if you did a “Full Face of ‘Sustainable’ Makeup” video whatever that means. Your new editing is so funny and chaotic.
I totally get your curiosity about the TF quads and to be honest the colour combo you're thinking of getting is probably one of their worst performing. I own a few and was very disappointed with this one. Admittedly, it was a colour combo that I gravitated towards and ended up returning it.
It's funny you talked about both the kosas new wet lip oils and then the pat McGrath lust gloss because I had asked you to compare those two and you kindly did just that. I do love the kosas milkier ones too. I think I just have to try the pat McGrath.
I missed why you're not using conditioner, so I'm not sure if you'd want to try this, but I recently started using a co-wash and it's such a game changer! I doubted how cleansing it would be, but it's fresh, clean and hydrating at the same time. I do still shampoo and condition, just less so ymmv. I got to try the Hair Story Rich one when I got my hair cut, and it was nice, but not enough to spend that kinda $$$. I'm currently using the Eden's Bodyworks one and actually like it more.
A word of caution- that IGK Legendary shampoo is nice, but the smell is STRONG and tenacious, at least to my nose. I did use the conditioner as well, so just the shampoo on its own may not be that bad.
I’ve used the red light from lightstim for anti-aging for 3 years. It’s amazing for lightning sunspots. Solid product for sure. For acne though I wouldn’t buy the lightstim brand though because the neutrogena one is effective enough at a much lower cost. But ye if you are looking for spot treatment maybe lightstim. Better than dr Dennis gross.
SOOOOOO Bergdorf had the Tom Ford Traceless Foundation stick on sale for 30% off and I grabbed it but they didn't have all the shades, unfortunately. I wait for sales like that for Tom Ford if I can. Whewww
I’m SO happy you’re reviewing the Gucci palette I need to know your option on it - I’ve watched a couple reviews but they have different makeup styles than me so I took it with a grain of salt. Also going to try out some of your recommendations including the AHA lotion since half of them I’ve tried and also loved 🤣 My KP is also out of control lately
Hello! I really like you decided to dive in to luxury makeup. Also it would be amazing if you could compare dior backstage to mac f&b and chanel vitalumiere aqua like a battle of water based foundations? Personally I really wonder which is better 🧐
Okay, you’ve convinced me, I need the Nest Turkish Rose perfume oil. I just picked up the Pat McGrath blush in divine rose in the sale. I’m pretty sure this is my 5th VIB sale with you. I think👀 Ahem…. How much longer for that secret eyeshadow situation from like a month ago?🤣 I just remember you saying we had to wait until November before you could talk about it🙈
Bronze and bright brunette, beautiful as always! 🌞 Definitely picking up the tower 28 tinted spf. I've got high hopes! I need one that dries down a bit instead of feeling like a layer of peel on my face all day for fks sake!! I'd love to know your thoughts on the Dior powder that samantha march raves about. Because a magic insta- fix face powder is something I could justify spending on$ Also getting the caudalie spray! I'm a vet tech and work long shifts and my face gets so parched. I bet this would be an awesome break treat. I think I might even try the kosas concealer! Thanks and take care 🙂
Did you stop using conditioner because you feel like it’s clogging your pores on your body when you wash it off? If so, I find that it helps to just change the order in which you do things in the shower. As in work top to bottom! Do your shampoo and conditioner first, then wash your face if you do that in the shower, and then wash your body last. That way you’re not rinsing products from your hair/face onto your body and just leaving them! If you are already doing so, or this is not at all the reason you stopped using conditioner, please disregard this comment. 🤣
I like the Kosas powder, but the packaging broke. Has anyone else had that happen?? I might try the Pat McGrath concealer, thanks for the recommendation!
Would also love to hear your thoughts on the Monika Blunder foundation that’s being talked about! I bought a few shades, but just curious to know your opinion!
Okay so I know this has nothing to do with this video but can you remind me of the service you use for text therapy? My schedule is super hectic rn and I just feel like I need to talk to someone but don't have the time. Also thanks for the beautiful recommendations! That vanilla woods perfume seems so up my alley and milkyway has been on my mind since I first saw you put it on. Honestly I want all the colorfixes lol. I've been using the REN AHA body serum for awhile now. I found a ton of 50 ml travel size bottled at like Marshalls for $3 and scooped up what they had. So nice. Gotta try it on my legs though
Okay, I give up. You know what I just did to my skin. 🙄 The lightstim, does it help with the bumps under the skin that just don't seem to ever want to become a pimple, and just want to torture you for an eternity?
If I could have a granddaughter of my own, I would pick you! I am 72 but try a lot of things you recommend and can use them on my mature skin. Thank you for your inner beauty and expression of truth in beauty products. You are a lovely beautiful woman. Don’t ever lose your humor. Hugs.
Just for the sake of accuracy the sale is only 20% off for rouge, it’s 15% for VIB and 10% for insiders!
I heard that Tom Ford quad was pretty bad :/ l'd maybe switch it with a quad that is all her wet/dry baked formula! Maybe Nude Dip
Yeh I've seen nothing but bad reviews for it, especially if you've been playing with PMG shadows, I'd be really worried about the stark contrast at that price-point.

Wow that’s so interesting! I always chocked it up to me wearing less long sleeves in the summer but the vitamin D thing makes sense. I will try!💗

Okay yes, I went back and checked her video, and Naked Pink is the quad that she gave a very poor review of-calling it Tom Fords worst quad
“the fjords-iest” okay my new favorite word

I finally bit the bullet and bought a PM blush during her 30% off sale and used a 10% discount code with it too. Cannot wait to receive it!
I’ve been here for at least 5-6 Sephora sales! I’m so appreciative of your energy and your recommendations are always on point!!!

I’m skipping the sale because I went ham sandwich at the PatMcGrath sale. I’m looking forward to your Dior and Tom Ford reviews.

My wedding makeup artist used the ABH dewy set on myself and all of my bridesmaids on my wedding day. It was so pretty!
This is probably number 4 for me? Not completely sure, but still as fun as number 1!

The Nest’ is divine
The TF blush duo is super nice. It is so smoothing.
I'd be really curious to hear your thoughts on NU by YSL!!! I haven't heard much about it but it's interesting the way they are trying to appeal to a different market and I think you'd have some interesting thoughts!

Clementine California is sooooo good, you will not regret it! Loved this video, great stuff :)
I'm sure many people have told you this but Hannah Louise Poston is all over the Gucci palette!
You’ve made me fall in love with everything Pat McGrath and I haven’t even bought anything yet 😅 excited to pick a few things up this time though!
Me too, and almost every Pat McGrath product I’ve purchased has been very very worth it. Her formulas are exquisite.
Pat McGrath is doing 30 percent off on her website right now, FYI.
@@jenniferflinchum9424 I’m not seeing that? Is there a code?
Speaking of Ester Lauder, I think you would love the new Double Wear lightweight serum. Reminds me a lot of Typology.
Waiting for this video from you! Going to try to be a discerning shopper & only buy what I need(ish), but...I'm sure you will tempt me! 💜
Would have loved for you to include which shades you use in the makeup products
Please try the Chanel Les Beige Water Tint. Amanda Z loves it and I’d love to know your opinion.
This is my 2nd year looking at your Sephora sale recommendations

Interested to see what you would say about the Chanel Les Beiges Fresh Water Tint!
Also the Dior Lip Oil (in Rosewood, Berry etc. :'))
I’ve heard the Tom Ford wet dry eyeshadow formula is supposed to be much better than the regular. Looking forward to your thoughts on these luxury brands

Please check out the Hermes lipsticks! I think they're gorgeous but I'd love to know if you think they're worth the money
SOOOOOO Bergdorf had the Tom Ford Traceless Foundation stick on sale for 30% off and I grabbed it but they didn't have all the shades, unfortunately. I wait for sales like that for Tom Ford if I can. Whewww
I love the sound of the new series
Sooo, question. Have you ever tried the Jones road beauty face pencils? Interested in what you think.
Would love to see a screen shot of the cart as your looking at the cart and, (I’m being nosy I know) what the total is, just for fun! :)
I say it at the end!
I have fleurtatious coming in the mail from the PMG 30% off sale and I can’t wait to try it 😊
Since clean routine 2019 babyyyyyyy!
Love clementine! I mix it with Replica Beach Walk
Please let me know about the Tom ford pallete before the sale is over!
I’m SO happy you’re reviewing the Gucci palette I need to know your option on it - I’ve watched a couple reviews but they have different makeup styles than me so I took it with a grain of salt.
Also going to try out some of your recommendations including the AHA lotion since half of them I’ve tried and also loved 🤣 My KP is also out of control lately
i feel like you'd dig the new savants christmas candle
She’s always sold out!
Hello! I really like you decided to dive in to luxury makeup. Also it would be amazing if you could compare dior backstage to mac f&b and chanel vitalumiere aqua like a battle of water based foundations? Personally I really wonder which is better 🧐
Thank you for biting the $$$ bullet for us 💸 super excited to hear your thoughts! 🧡
i listen to you when doing hw!! i love your channel and content :))
Your hair looks amazing today! Not that it’s ever not beautiful, but it was extra noticeable today. Always love seeing what you’re going to pick up :)
Okay, you’ve convinced me, I need the Nest Turkish Rose perfume oil. I just picked up the Pat McGrath blush in divine rose in the sale.
I’m pretty sure this is my 5th VIB sale with you. I think👀
Ahem….
Bigger question then what is in your cart, what is on your EYES?!?
She said in a comment it's the Pat McGrath holiday palette plus the Danessa Myricks colorfix in milky way.
This is exactly what I do! I hate the feeling of conditioner left on my back and this fixed it haha
I found you last year during Covid so I think this is #3 for me
I like the Kosas powder, but the packaging broke. Has anyone else had that happen??
I might try the Pat McGrath concealer, thanks for the recommendation!
Would also love to hear your thoughts on the Monika Blunder foundation that’s being talked about! I bought a few shades, but just curious to know your opinion!
I’m so excited about the reviews that are coming out of this cart you are planning
kp game changer amlactin and one of those dead skin mits
Just threw the mini Nest Birchwood Pine candle in my cart- I just need to smell it now. I’m sure I will regret not getting the big one 😹
I like the clementine perfume
Secret sauce, what color did you pick? 1? I am fair. Thank you so much!
Body sauce . 😃
1!
4th sephora sale!
Okay, I give up. You know what I just did to my skin. 🙄 The lightstim, does it help with the bumps under the skin that just don't seem to ever want to become a pimple, and just want to torture you for an eternity?
First one but no damn way it’s the last 😂 Love your videos!
From my friends that have a lot of tom ford eye palettes they all said this naked pink one stinks. Don’t do it.
You're looking extra beautiful today! 🌟
You are missing a link for the Kosas powder in your description box -- get that commish girl.
I have been with you for so many VIB sales that I’ve lost count lol.
