@@arotheredone of course it can be created by virtual instruments but he/she means that usually the instruments usually sound totally different or they change the tempo (usually to make the song faster, thing that usually ruins it) this director is pretty talented she got everything perfect and made it sound chaotic and epic

RE5 is 10 years this year. 2009-2019.
15 years now. I still remember preordering this greatness.
To clarify some comments saying "wow it just sounds like in the game" yep, basically most of the boss fights of the game were also recorded via a true orchestra, just like this theme (source: RE5 making of available on YT :p )
Its more that live performances still tend to sound different from recorded music

How has nobody come to the conclusion that this is obviously playbacked? It's exactly the same as the original theme.
Even so the purpose of an orchestra to perform while through a playback would be to give the theme or rendition a feel of enhanced improvement...don't ask how I know this, what I do remember is that it just works in most cases.
Sounds different to me. Similar yes, but different. Some instruments are more presents than in the original theme and others are less audible.
@@hiokiryuuhei4714 The only thing that's real is the percussion and some of the brass being played on top of the original track. Look at how it starts too. The conductor starts with the melody even before the the music starts starts playing. There's no people playing at all from the start either. They try to hide the bad timing by turning off the lights at the start. The tempo is exactly the same as the original as well. It's too perfect.
@@ikarsoontiens959 Hmmm, for me there is more than only the percussion that sounds diffèrent, like this kind of flute we hear at some point (Clarinet maybe ? i dunno, I'm not very knowledgable in music). The violin parts tho sounds very close to the original and there I could see why you could think it is playbacked. But when I look at the violonists on the left side of the scene, they are perfectly sync... so I sincerely don't know. Except them and the percussionists, it's hard to tell who do what, the video is blur and filmed from so far... If we had another recording of the same play then maybe it would help to make sure of it.
But I agree that the conductor is kinda suspicious... I've seen a few other orchestras where you can see a certain coherence between what is played and what they do as gestures, but here... it seems quite off at some points, so maybe you're right... but as I said, I'm not an expert on that field so I can't tell much either XD
Tho if it's playbacked, that's a shame because it was the only decent "live" version I've heard online, the others have either poor audio quality or sounds too different... :/
@@hiokiryuuhei4714 I'm on the same boat man. i was searching for a good live version as well but it's hard to find. It's a problem with videogame orchestras in general that stuff gets playbacked.
