- Kia Ora! I've spent close to a week (not including the time spent by my spouse) on doing research to get the best motorhome for my 3 week travel to New Zealand for a group of 6 persons. It's exhilarating and stressful at the same time as being a perfectionist I am trying to get the best bang for my buck and the best experience for my family!
So many brands and choices to choose from! Cars & hotel or motorhome? Maui or Apollo? What to bring? Should I buy the excess cover? So many questions!
So I'm just penning down (or perhaps vlogging down) my lessons and observations from my research (purely online so far) on the things to take note of when booking your mobile home for your epic New Zealand trip!
I hope you learn some tips and tricks from this video! Warning though, the video is long as I take a nice hike up the hill at my backyard while noting down my thoughts. It's a semi ASMR video as well to listen to the sounds of the rushing rivers and sounds of birds and insects in my local hill hike! Listen to the video while I impart some hiking wisdom along the way!

In the video I did not talk about the new freedom camping rules which come into ruling since 2023; perhaps I can do another video about the differences on camp sites, DOC, and the rules to adhere to in each county soon.
