I’d like to see them include Bloodstorm from the Mutant X comics. She was Marvel’s Storm that was turned into a vampire. She could use a hypnotic gaze, control over animals, morph into animals, transform her body into myst, and drain the blood of her opponents with her fans. Bloodstorm would make a great addition to this game.
Bloodstorm is X-Men storm but also a vampire with all the powers of both, she is already a skin on the UMvC3 the one with the Mohawk and no cape, rocker looking one. And yes, she be a easy and great addition, all vampire effects can be used from Morrigan.
I'm someone who's just started getting into playing this version of Marvel, and it's been a blast seeing how characters are implemented in the engine. There are community led tournaments, but I've been having fun just hitting training mode. Just wanted to clear up some things after spending time labbing with the modded version for anyone interested in giving it a shot like I have: 11:21 There is no playable Ruby Heart (yet?) 11:32 There is no playable Rogue (yet?) 11:50 X-23's Wolverine identity is actually a full on character with her own moveset. Kind of a mish mash of X23 and Wolverine put into one with some move properties changed. Not just a mere costume addition. 11:57 Dante (DMC1) is also a full playable character with a new moveset. He plays quite differently, to say the least. You could both Dantes on the same team. This applies to the S.T.A.R.S. versions of Resident Evil characters, DMC5 Vergil, Jean Grey, Lilith, etc. as well. Not just a mere costume addition. Props to all the passionate modders and the community for breathing new life into the game. Personally, I've been waiting for a passionate modder to put in Date Masamune from Sengoku Basara. I think he's got a lot of potential to be fun in the Marvel way and is already such an outrageous character in a zany series. Install hypers to pull out more swords and widely available reference material to craft into a full moveset with killer voicelines. Instant main.
I'm hoping Mega Man, Hayato, Jin Saotome, Ruby Heart, Dr. Wily, Magma Dragoon, Soki, Vile, Saki, Alex, and many others need to be modded soon enough in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Community Edition.

Marvel’s side of voice actors is the best I’ve ever seen in this game. It has the cast of Avengers: earth’s mightiest heroes, Wolverine and the X-Men, Nolan North as Deadpool, and Josh Keaton as Spider-Man. The ones that have not appeared in the shows in that era were most likely to be the number one choice.
Basically just fill out the roster completely with all of the MvC2 and Infinite characters and add Nightcrawler, Havok, Leon, Ibuki, Makoto, Jeddah, Donovan, Dimitri, Monster Hunter, Magik, Beast, Archangel, Sinister, Lady Deathstrike, Bishop, Mystique, Star Lord, Nebula etc
S.T.A.R.S. Jill is a modded character. she is a combination of MvC2 Jill and MvCi Winter Soldier, and she's planned to get minor reworks to be more like her MvC2 version. she's actually one of the most meta characters in the weekly havengers tournament.
Glad to see Captain Commando and Sakura. I'd really like Vanessa from P.N.03, Akira & Natsu from Rival Schools, and Mystique from X-Men added to this. So hyped regardless.
Played MvC3/U religiously on PS4, got it cheap on Steam just to have it archived. Now I have a reason to pick it back up. A practical MvC4. I'm flabbergasted. Can't wait for Gene and Blade, but I'm just ecstatic that they added Asura; he would've been a much better fit than a few of the Capcom roster (Lookin at you C. Viper.) Also... painful that Tatsunoko Vs Capcom was a one-off on a system that discouraged fighting games. Can still easily "obtain" it, but no online.
according to forums and steam discussions Capcom recently added DRM from a russian company to a bunch of their older products to stop modding including this game. Sounds like it is an issue that a lot of people seem to be upset about.
@@pixelgamer83 Capcom HAS added it for other games like some of the RE titles, but not for UMVC3. Last UMVC3 patch was a random patch in June 2023. It still works on Steam Deck and the (still active) community would be in an uproar if they did something so boneheaded

UMVC3 Graphics aged so badly. There are older games that look better so good 3D with longevity has been possible for 20+ years MVC 2 has aged way better due to how stylish it is. Really wish we just had SOME MVC that was available on all platforms that looked good 😭 The MVC collection isn't even coming to the latest consoles 😭

While much nice work has been done with Marvelvs3 lately, the series is dead officially to me. Deadpool should have a super where he hits you with 9.8 graded slabbed copies of his 1st appearance like Gambit. I'm waiting for a completely unexpected char; a STAR Comics latecomer? Left field- Superpro? Time will tell. Many still love the series, while I prefer the vs2 gameplay without bounce, vs3 has always had striking fluid visuals and will continue to be a pleasure to experience IMHO.

That hasn't been added to UMVC3 fortunately on Steam or other PC storefronts. Hopefully ever. It's still DRM free and still runs on Steam Deck.

yeah, ken is really sick. his dragon punch assist is top tier and hes one of the more approachable characters

I love MvC3 but putting these custom janky models and animations next to the original characters just doesn't do it for me, it's cool that people are having fun with the game though.
Can I download this on ps5 or xbox series x? Or pc only? Google here I come.

While much nice work has been done with Marvelvs3 lately, the series is dead officially to me. Deadpool should have a super where he hits you with 9.8 graded slabbed copies of his 1st appearance like Gambit. I'm waiting for a completely unexpected char; a STAR Comics latecomer? Left field- Superpro? Time will tell. Many still love the series, while I prefer the vs2 gameplay without bounce, vs3 has always had striking fluid visuals and will continue to be a pleasure to experience IMHO.
