Build a floating dock, mounted in the pond and put the house on it for the ducks. they will stay there, and it will make them feel safe from predators on the land.

Those birds, now bird, need a safe place. Was just telling my better half that I wondered how long it would be before a eagle or a person jacked those birds. Apparently, one day. Great idea in theory. Just can't leave large white flightless birds unattended. Oops. Keep doing all you do.

When you first said suggesting names my thoughts were Dog Food and Cat Food.
Make a floating duck house with an anchor out in the middle of the pond.
Your guests will probably catch the ducks, they'll eat bread etc !

Keep an eye out for urban coyotes! They'll gi the distance for a duck dinner.
DUDE, No fence! 1st place I would look, check the road for a BIG red spot, next I would check your local gator, then if still you have not found him, I would check with your local Great Horned owl, osprey, or coyote. Please invest in a fence, and a trail cam for night time viewing of feeding as the case may be. if for nothing else, to preserve the wildlife. Love your vids.....

If you bleed the blue fish just as soon as it comes out of the water fillet and skin them, they are pretty good eating.

You need to put the duck house in the middle of the pond, no good having it at the side because a fox or something will have them. Put the house on a some kind of float then the water level won’t make any difference, try and put a bridge so the ducks can walk out of the water into house.

Those farm ducks aren't made to live in water. They need a fence to keep them out of the road. And protect them from predators.

You can get floating duck houses. That way it's on the water and unaccessible by people and most predators.

What the heck? These 2 crested ducks need to be in a safe environment- a pool of retention water near a busy highway is your idea of a good idea?? And then when you lose one and just walk away leaving that one alone in your parking lot? That’s disgusting- take him home with you- they make great pets and can be happy with a kiddie pool. So so sad-

Well it looks like you only need one name now!!! I’ve seen a alligator snapping turtle grab the foot of a Canadian goose and pull it underwater! I was fishing the bank of a pond and saw it all happen!! Either someone came and stole it or you got a pond monster!! That would be my guess!!!
