    Ok people, the act of changing the filter was done well. But make sure you prime the filter first before just trying the start it like he did...... so instead of turning the engine over, just turn it to the on position, then off. Repeat that 3 times. You will hear the fuel pump if you are doing it right. After that the engine should turn over right away. You are filling a void in your fuel system and properly presurizing your fuel rail.

    Hi, Nice to see that your filter came out so easily. My filter is unchanged after 30 years. I have the GTi three door hatch. The 14mm Nut at the bottom has been rounded off , presumably during previous attempts to remove it. It looks as though we will need to cut the pipe at the bottom and come up with another solution

      Dorman has a kit for this under their Dorman HELP! line of products. I used it once, was great

      +South Main Auto Repair sounds like you need new plugs and wires 😂 or another Toyota, Snotty Kilner swears by them

    When do you need to replace the fuel filter or what are the symptoms of bad fuel filter? Thanks

      Not sure of the factory interval but I'd replace it every 3-5 years

    How to loosent the bottom nut. I try few times very tight. Using no 14 spannar but failed. Please help...any idea? Thank you

      Try using the correct tool. A pipe/flared spanner

    Step 1 is slide out the carbon canister...The rest is easy...I hope that helps.
