I cannot believe the coloring on those and they look so good. This is what food is all about. If you don't enjoy soup dumplings than I can't help you lol.
I still prefer Din Tai Fung's xiao long bao way better , however everything else is comparable or even better than DTF. I appreciate that they're trying to showcase different flavor, however the best thing is still pork or pork and crab, there's no need to mess with the best.
Wao, they have opened a restaurant in the US. Surprised that they did not have a slip of paper that recommends the sequence to eat the 8 Flavor Rainbow Xiao Long Bao. Please come to Singapore again to try Paradise Dynasty when travel allows.
Second time my wife and I have run into you (before mitsuwa). First time seeing you make a video. I appreciate all the videos you both make, as your interest in alot of food and world travel align with ours. Thanks much to the effort you both put into your daily lives for others. In regards to this place it was our second time having it, and it seemed much better this time, so they could definitely work on consistency, also some dishes and most of the drinks were not available. The worst part is, I ordered a diet Coke listed on the menu, and well "is diet Pepsi okay?"... No it isn't.
@@YellowProductions: BTW: I think it’s great that you and your wife share the same dishes; my wife and I often do the same - and it’s not to save money either, since we order more food than two people could possibly eat. 😀 We just enjoy eating from the same plate; especially, when it comes to tasting/degustation menus/dishes. In my experience only couples that truly love each other do that.
I really like the concept of the multiple flavors of dumplings. That was probably a good idea that you saved the spicy one for the end so that it didn't affect the other ones. I definitely would love to check out that place at some point. Dumplings are quite good!
@@YellowProductions The premise was that it is a gradual step up in flavour intensity so you dun get overwhelmed when you taste a weaker flavour after a strong one.
Hi Chris. Those dumplings look good. It's nice that it let's you know what's inside and mot just coloring for show. I thinl you can't go wrong with either restaurant. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Hi, Please go and try again now. They are amazing now. You were there when it's new, not that stable with a brand new team which are not bonded. Overall has improved 10X on its overall. Please be fair and try the 2nd time. DTF when it 1st open in scp were a mess if u may wanna check.
I prefer Dynasty XLB than DTF cos of the variety.... i like the Original & Garlic the most followed by Sze Chuan & cheese. Normally i nibble the top to drink the soup first than eat the dumpling
(I know, nobody will care, but I write this for the algorithm and to wallow in nostalgia a bit.) They look delicious, but I have a thing with everything that squirts hot liquid when I bite into it, so unfortunately this isn't for me. Quite a handicap actually, since I was born and raised in a region of Germany that is famous for its dumplings. It was a bit funny when I spent a year in China for a internship as a engineering student almost 20 years ago. I traveled there with my boss and two guys from a different company partnering in the project. They came from a different part/state of Germany and when we were invited to a large dumpling and pork bun (baozi) dinner, they assumed I must love it, because of where I came from, while in reality, I had to force the stuff down and was really queasy. And stuff like that kept happening throughout my time in China. The project we worked on was situated in the city of Qingdao, which used to be a German colony for a while and they still brew China's most famous beer there, in the old German brewery, which happened to be celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2003, when I was there. There was a huge beer festival with Oktoberfest style beer tents all over the city. Pretty much everyone I met asked me how their Tsingtao beer compares and holds up to German beer and because I am a weirdo who never started drinking alcohol, I had to tell them I don't know, because I never even tried German beer. They all looked at me as if I were a alien monstrosity with too many heads or something, hehehe.
I care TrangleC -- and I always enjoy reading your comments (and the algorithm love!) -- On the beer note... I know how you feel... San Diego (where I'm from) has a huge beer brewery industry -- and I'm not really an alcohol either. And yes.. when I tell people that I also get that feeling that people think I have two heads :)
Good evening Mr. Chris. I guess you are a messy eater with all those napkins. hee hee hee Thanks for saying what Xiao Long Bao was. I had no clue. Now I want to try all of them.
Hi Alvaro -- yes... Topher got Stolen in the London. And yes, we have some replacement pandas... but didn't find one that looked quite like the original Topher. I guess I just haven't bonded as much with the new "actor" that plays Topher now :)

Sound so yummy! I will have to check that out. Think I’ll take my mom there. Thank for the great info. Than you for sharing.

The soup dumplings i had from din Tai fung in Taipei were insane. Unbelievably good
my first visit to Din Tai Fung was in Taipei in the basement floor of a department store. Incredible.
@@printnewb pretty sure that's the same place I went to. Right near were a bunch of stairs leading up to the ground level outside
This looks worth the hour trip for a tasty delights at either place and of course some shopping. Thanks for the tips
Thanks J. I hope you check them out and enjoy!

Yup! Just opened! And yeah... they have the slips of paper... we just didn't get one of them for whatever reason.. so we made up our own order :)

Good to see you again Daniel! And for sure... Pepsi is not an OK replacement for Coke :)... Hopefully they'll work through that issue too!
Did I really have to watch this NOW that I’m miserably hungry?! 😳😀
Bon Appétit!
Hah! Hope you got something good to eat ALex!

Definitely a restaurant worth checking out Scott!
Chris there is a certain order to eat them. I think it's original, ginseng, fois gras, black truffle, cheese, crab roe, garlic, szechuan.
Hi Wee-Sen -- yeah... I saw they had the cards that said the order to eat them... they didn't give us one though... so we were just winging it :)

Chris what happened to Topher? Did it get stolen in France, i think? But I thought you got another one

Think I will check that place out just to try the foie gras dumpling LOL
