I watched this so many times as a kid I lost count! I still have the VHS tape to this day. To this day I can’t get enough of these babies! Especially the gorillas!
When I was a kid, I borrowed the Jack Hanna video from the library and watched it at home. I remember the journey on an African savannah. The clip was the elephant part where Jack was saying "And take a look at this big guy." But I don't remember the name of the Jack Hanna video.
This has some of the funniest bits in Zoo Life. Kali the giraffe giving Jack a haircut and Benny the elephant getting excited and going on a rampage while mugging the camera come to mind.
Thank you so much! I know you get that a lot but I am especially grateful! I had this on VHS in Nigeria when I was a kid. I also had Natl. Geo's Really Wild Animals! They both built a love and yearning for learning Geography and Biology! Thank you so much!
I'm just waiting for some TikTok or Reddit user to show up and say "uM aCTuaLly THatS nOt hOW u TakE CAreE oF BAby AnImaLS!". Don't let anyone ruin this for me!!
I trust Jack Hanna. Next to Steve Irwin, he seems to be the most honest when it comes to interacting with animals. And it's not like they tell us you can be best friends with every animal in the world. Some species like gorillas and elephants are known for being friendlier, while species like the rhino at the end are tougher to care for.
at least a breeding program for Asian Elephants is something that can happen which is more that can be said for a breeding program for Columbian Mammoths cause their extinct
My grandma had a huge collection of ‘Zoo Life’ videos for us when we were little. I miss her so much 💕♥️💕
Right in the childhood. Thank you

And The baboon gets to me!
That's my dad! (Zookeeper Chris Allen) 🥰🥰
Had this on VHS and would watch it ALLL the time 😭😭
That was really nice.❤
My favorite babies here are Popeye the flamingo, Benny the elephant, Kali the giraffe, and the rhino at the end who's name escapes me.
Same here! I also love the baby gorillas!
If you can, could you please upload more full VHS episodes of Zoo Life with Jack Hanna?
I still have the VHS is from when I was a kid and I cannot find any DVDs

The media can find flaws with everyone. Even someone as tame as Mister Rogers! Thankfully, this comment section seems pretty pleasant so far.
I Use To Have This Tape
I still have mine... somewhere!! 😅
The 7 people who gave Jack Hanna a thumbs down suck at life.
Or they’re bots
One of my other videos I had.
Awww they cute
What's the name of the wolphin at 10:15 of this video?
It was sad to hear that Jack has dementia.
Wait, he does...?? Oh, no... I never knew that... That is such a huge shame... 😔 I loved his videos growing up, and still do...
Amen to that! 😢😢😢😢😢
Yeah, that’s why it’s such a blessing that so much of his work has been captured and recorded.
I'm old enough to remember this but I don't.If you wanna see some other videos with jack hanna in it look up old shows of letterman.
AAAHHHH! he he 'What else can you say?

That’s what the zoo world needs new life coming in the world not the geriatric creatures withering away to dust.
Hey, I'm one of those "geriatric creatures" myself (at least according to the calendar)! Have a heart!! 😅😅😅
He has alzheimers... I'm bawling
I'm in tears, too😢😢😢
