Jack Hanna and David Letterman are one of the most underrated comedy duos of all time. Partially because Jack didnt realize he was part of a comedy duo. All that dude knows how to do is talk animals. Brilliant video.
Actually, there's at least one more cool "terrific animals and the folks who show them" old videos-series: "Marty Stouffer's 'Wild America'" episodes. My favorite is the one called "Fantastic Follies". It's about funny stuff that animals have done! 😅😅😅😅
Marlin Perkins, our GREAT St Louis ZOO is the ONLY FREE zoo to enter. There ARE attractions to pay for but going in is free. I LOVE OUR Zoo. Marlin and Jim Flowler on Johnny Carson
I’m so happy I found this. My mom just went through her VHS stuff and found a collection of Jack Hanna tapes. I’m reliving my childhood and it’s fantastic.
I used to have all of Jack Hanna's films on VHS, and then some years ago my storage unit was robbed while I was moving. Out of everything I lost, this is one of those odd, seemingly insignificant things I spent years trying to find again. Not constantly, of course, but it was something I never forgot about. My favorite part was with the otter at the end, I could watch it a million times and still adore it. Thank you so much for sharing this.
I used to watch this all the time when I was little. I remember bringing the VHS tape to show and tell in Kindergarten, 1998, and how overjoyed I was when our teacher put it on for the entire class to watch together. Core memory :)
@@fabledfantasty7343 I've gone back to college after 20 years to finish my degree. I'm planning on using it to build a self-sustaining animal rescue charity. Thank you for asking.

Was there another version of this tape released? The one I had as a kid featured a segment between the burping camels and the baby spectacled bear where Jack and a keeper were trying to get dogs to "sing" and completely failed at it. There's also another segment where he made a "penguin milkshake" that was missing.
When you bought the set from time life, even if you returned the set, they let you keep the bloopers vhs. Needless to say, I watched the series once, and this blooper vhs many times!
I remember being OBSESSED with this video as a kid! I especially enjoyed the clip involving King the Camel! By the way, what is the name of the song at 18:04? Just curious. (I just KNOW it’s gotta be an APM score, as “ZooLife” relied heavily on APM background music.)
Also, to be fair, there's a reason it's called Animal Bloopers, these are the goofy moments a professional wouldn't want to show on their normal regular stuff, and then you have the family-friendly, "entertaining" editing in mind too, (like that bit with King's cough-like sound being made in response to Jack's question when that clip was clearly just used moments before).
😊😊 Same here, nowadays -- at least until/unless I can find a good deal on a vcr/DVD combo, 'cause I kept a lot of my old VHS's and DVD's! (I have quite a little library of them nowadays!😊)
I have got to meet you too because you're humor and love of them is everything I am about and I need to go to wolf country to see Valhalla and lady my babies
Someone please help me, iv'e been trying to find this VHS about how to draw zoo animals and the host was a Blonde man in his 30's , someone recon that description?

Growing up with this guy was the best ❤ This is a wonderful tribute to him ❤
Omg! I remember when i watched that videotape! This TH-cam video takes me back.

Jack Hanna is one of the reasons I'm such an animal lover, and this VHS is part of my childhood. Don't ever delete this.
I agree if it wasn’t for jack Hanna I wouldn’t have been a animal lover at this day
Same here. Feel blessed to have that in my life. Thanks to jack.
Two scenes are missing from this VHS. One of them is them feeding a crocodile named Jake. The other one is with singing dogs
I love this. Never seen this before. I am from Ohio and met Jack when I was in fifth grade on a field trip.
Lucky! I hope I get to meet him someday...! He's awesome and hilarious!

Apparently it was at least the second time that happened because I heard someone else say “he just did it again”
