I'm just imagining if this were a fancier sit-down place. Waiter- "Sir, would you like to see our wine list?" Customer- "Oh, I never drink . . . wine."
It is a great place to eat, surrounded by all the memorabilia. The Universal Horror Monsters are timeless. Check out my Beetlejuice musical video which also features the classic monsters.
God! I wished I could go visit this place. I'd be so satisfied working there every single day of my life. lol I would tell the boss that they need to hire me because I am probably more passionate about Universal Monsters than anyone here lol
Amazing. I love the classic Universal Monster movies, used to have a few on VHS, now I have some on DVD. That restaurant looks like a Monster lovers haven, with all the displays and stuff.
1:56 Is that from The Phantom of The Opera? If so... I LOVE TPoTO! :D I enjoyed the original silent film and the books (there are two, since a sequel was commissioned) and I just ADORE the musicals!
Interesting. I went to Universal Studios a long time ago. I went in 1999 when i was 8 yrs old & in 2006 when i was 15. I don't remember seeing Monsters Cafe. I've only been to the California one but idk if the have Monsters Cafe in California. I haven't been for 10 yrs. The music is the Beetlejuice theme. Is that real water where the creature from the black lagoon?
Hi Lily, this Cafe was at Universal Studios in Florida. The answer to your water question is that the water effect is created by having a row of tubes of water at the back of the display case, where air bubbles are pumped up, so the figure isn't emerged in water entirely. It looks good and the park is well worth a visit.
Oh ok. Maybe one day in the future i will go to the Florida Universal Studios. There's places i wanna visit in the future like this place & in Jamestown New York to visit Lucille Ball's home & the Christmas Story house. I saw in the restaurant pics of the Munsters. I love that tv show.
Thank you. This video was filmed at the park in Orlando, Florida. The Classic Monster's Cafe can be found in the Production Central section of the park on 57th Street.
I always loved eating here. Sadly, when they renamed the Phantom of the Opera Horror Make-up Show as the Horror Make-up Show, this seems like one of the last vestiges of the classic Universal Horrors atcthis park.
He's at 1:12! But really, who cares about invisible guy? He's, like.. totes INVISIBLE! XD A grievous error is not having the one that started it all, Bela Lugosi's Dracula. Irreparable slight!
Yes your video was really nice and i enjoy it allot, next time work more time to show us more stuff around and talk about those stuff,i will subscribe to you.I also worth mention that yesterday i bought the universal monsters blueray box set with 8 films in the coffin box and and an exclusive pop with the creature since i am a big fan.The closest thing to get since i don't live out there to see those attraction from a closer view and i am so freaking hyped with the whole thing.
MrFord4210 Didn't Hollywood used to have one, because I think that there used to be one but I think that they replaced it with a photo booth that is right next to the gift shop.
I can't remember the name of this show but it was in universal studios in Orlando and it was where a scientist showed off his invention which was wolf man or something and then there was also other monsters I swear down it is real I just can't remember the name it annoys me sooo much and my family don't even remember it. I can never dream of a full length show so it must be real. I am just so confused
+Feline Kitty paws I think the show you are referring to is the Horror Make Up Show, which is on my channel in 3 films. The wolfman-like monster is in the final part. Here are the links to the show - enjoy: Part 1: th-cam.com/video/zZB4FoOiTKs/w-d-xo.html Part 2: to be completed. Part 3: th-cam.com/video/U1hGJuenzIQ/w-d-xo.html Part4: th-cam.com/video/agIwM7UTOag/w-d-xo.html
0:58 This is one of my idol's favorite films from his childhood. :) But that's not what I was going to say at first... I was gonna say, I think we ate here once, or some place like it. I was very small and not yet used to horror at all, so the only thing I remember that didn't scare me was Frankenstein's Monster... lol Sorry, Franky! You're not even the least bit scary!
No Bela's Dracula? Seaweed guy is just not part of the same era as Frankie & Wolfie! Well it's just as well, cos he wasn't a monster, unlike the others. He was a sexy, sexy dapper Blood Emperor, that's all.
Wish they had more exhibits like Rando Hatton's the Creeper, or one of the Mole People, or even the Redesigned Creature from the Creature Walks Among Us.
Monster Cafe was my first job out of high school, while I was in college love it . Spent 3 years lots of amazing memories.
That would be so sick if Frankenstein and wolf man came out while people were eating 😍
I'm just imagining if this were a fancier sit-down place.
Waiter- "Sir, would you like to see our wine list?"
Customer- "Oh, I never drink . . . wine."
I love this cafe. We go there every time we go to universal studios in Orlando. I love the old monsters memorabilia.
It is a great place to eat, surrounded by all the memorabilia. The Universal Horror Monsters are timeless. Check out my Beetlejuice musical video which also features the classic monsters.

No.....I am more passionate than you lol.....When the house is filled with dread place the beds at head to head.
@@jnohiofats7732 does it really need to be a contest. 🙄 Just let people be passionate about what they love.
@@urmomshouseimurdadnow Hi Eliza ....My comment was made with tongue in cheek and a smile on my face. Hope it doesn.t offend now.

I’ve been there, amazing
thats a fantastic place
Love universal film studios it,s great ❤❤❤
I've been here before it's absolutely awesome they have the mask of the Invisible Man and Metaluna Mutant from the real original movies🎃
Awesome
Great walk-through of the place - I wish I were able to go. Thanks Mr. Ford!!
Thank you. I hope you get to visit soon.
Lon Chaney played the Wolfman and Boris Karloff played Frankenstein.
I think you mean Karloff played Frankenstein's monster. Colin Clive played Frankenstein.
And Lon Chaney (JR.) played The Wolfman!
And Lon Chaney Senior played the Phantom of the Opera and the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
I love Monster's Cafe🕵️♂️😎👍✌💖💗
My favorite room is the alien section 👽
BRAVO!!!
Thanks for sharing this video with us!
Now let's suppose if I were a resident in Orlando, Fla., I'd probably frequent this place...LOL
enjoyed the video...thanks

Hi Lily, I agree The Munsters was a great show. It is good to have places that you want to visit and goals. I hope you get to see them all.
On winter break i will go there probaly
I remember when i was eight i was terrified at the creature of the black lagoon statue
It's nice to relive those childhood memories.
The creature from the black lagoon is my favorite movie monster
Good choice. 👍
Nice vid.! Which UNIVERSAL Studios is this Orlando or Hollywood????

Didn't see any Memorabilia Surrounding Dracula for some reason.
It was a very nice video you made!
+glenmann62 Many thanks.
Great video!!
But is there Dracula?
How dare they not have invisible man
Hi Felix, I totally agree, that's a big mistake if he isn't featured somewhere in the restaurant. I certainly didn't see him!
He's at 1:12! But really, who cares about invisible guy? He's, like.. totes INVISIBLE! XD A grievous error is not having the one that started it all, Bela Lugosi's Dracula. Irreparable slight!
He is there but he took his clothes off to hide in plain sight
well he is invisible.

Loved it! Where in Florida is it located?
Thanks. The Monster Cafe can be found in Universal Studios Florida, Orlando, in the Production Central section of the park on 57th Street.
Thanks!
I want to go!
I completely forgot but is thud café still there?
Yes, the Monster Café is still advertised as being open on the Universal website.
that was great...that wasn't there when I went10 years ago...lol
Oh and I see this video is also playing a theme song track made by one of my idol's best friends. XD Awesome!
The first Cinematic Universe before Marvel.
Is it still there? I want to go there!
Hi Elle, Yes it is still open. Check out the Universal website.

I saw that at universal
poor gill man lost a hand...wait...THE MUMMY REBOOT!!!
That is awesome dose LA have this to?
Pistol213rd Thank you. Sorry I don't think the Universal Studios park in LA features a Monster's Cafe, only the Orlando theme park.
MrFord4210 Didn't Hollywood used to have one, because I think that there used to be one but I think that they replaced it with a photo booth that is right next to the gift shop.
negavenom that was a haunted house called House Of Horrors
mario pena I knew that, but I was speculating that there was one that was in between the gift shop and House of Horrors before it was a photo booth.
negavenom nope they have nothing like that sadly
I can't remember the name of this show but it was in universal studios in Orlando and it was where a scientist showed off his invention which was wolf man or something and then there was also other monsters I swear down it is real I just can't remember the name it annoys me sooo much and my family don't even remember it. it's really Frankenstein's monster. Frankenstein' is really the name of the doctor who made the monster.
I know. But most people just call him Frankenstein.
No but it just seems like Universal doesn't give a shit about their history and what built that theme park
Once again, Florida > Hollywood.. Step it up Hollywood.
Universal...the birth place of the classic monsters, yet the exhibits look horrible!
Wish they had more exhibits like Rando Hatton's the Creeper, or one of the Mole People, or even the Redesigned Creature from the Creature Walks Among Us.
Harry Potter wasn't a Universal product and despite what the nerds say I believe it is very much a fad
Ben Chapman was my buddy.... Harry Potter sucks by the way
