please check the genetic material has to inject in female pronucleus or male pronucleus. as per my knowledge the genetic material is injected in male pronucleus
Would homologous recombination replace both of the original genes simultaneously or is there a possibility for the generation of heterozygous mice from that first injection into the pronucleus where the blue gene replaced the black one
Uhm, no. The process is random; you have no control over where the gene goes. If you want to control where the gene goes, you need to select for true homologous recombination through a different process that utilizes g418 and ganciclovir .

Your videos have been extraordinarily helpful for my upper level bio courses. Thank you so much and continue the great work.
+Jasmine Breaux thank you. Glad you liked my lectures
This man has been saving me from high school!!
Great explanation, however, the male pronuclei is larger than that of the female pronuclei (at least for mice).
hey suman you are a awsome teacher your lectures are just wow
Great explanation thank you
Note that in mice the male pronuclei tends to be bigger than the female pronuclei.
Congrats for 1 million subscribers❤. I m so happy for this.
Sir.. Please make videos on transgenic methods like retroviral vector , micro injection etc ! ...
Okay
You are a genuine
Thank you
It is really awesome and fascinating.
You're the best!!! Thank you
Can u explain abt the transgenic Methods
Bhaiiiii...can u plzzzz share a vedio on a topic of public awareness of the processes of producing transgenic organisms.....plzzzz.

Sir I read the male nucleaus is lager then female
yes absolutely i got a 4th edition (glick) it has mentioned in it
nice explanation
What is difference between Transgenic and knock out mice ?
Thank you!
Is it possible to reverse a transgenic mouse and return it to the wild type form?
What is the major difference between transgenic mice and knock out mice in simple
Gene knock out can be used as a technique to make transgenic mouse
@@shomusbiologyofficial thanks for clarifying
Sir please make video
On Nuclear transfer....
Okay
Why do we use alpha MHC promoters in transgenic mice
Thank you~
not always you substitute a gene
Will you plz do in Hindi sir
Sorry. Stop this Hindi English language thing. Higher education require you to lesrn English. So please do that

I think male pronucleus is larger than female mice😅❤
