I’ve watched five reviews of these in an effort to narrow down my wishlist. Everyone is talking about the glitter in Icon Baby. Some people are bothered by it and some don’t seem to mind it. It would drive me bonkers because of the gritty feeling and the fact that glitter stays on the lips after the color wears off. Great review and comparisons! The Icon Baby liner looks like something I would love. Love your enthusiasm for Charlotte!❤
I got the Icon baby. Grittiness for the first application but after that it seems to go away and is very moisturizing. The others don't have the glitter at all but in Icon baby I actually really like it.
Red Carpet Pink looks exactly like a lipstick I wore in middle school back in the 80s…lol. So, I will pass on that one. Rebecca from Not Fit For Print noticed the glitter from Icon Baby, too. She took the swatches out in the sunlight-yup glitter city.
I think her KISSING formula recently has changed loads too, especially with adding lots of glitter. Such a shame None of these shades appeal to me sadly, although they look lovely on Morgan

Really pretty pink/red lip colors! I loved all of them on you, that red looks gorgeous with your neutral eye look. The Queen lip liner is a bright pink I can use in my collection. I like Rose to Fame and Hollywood Vixen! Nice review.

Icon Baby lipstick is grainy because of the glitter. Which is not good. Every review has mentioned the grittiness of that lipstick. LA Colors/LA Girl make lip products with glitter and you can’t even feel it. And they’re super cheap/affordable brands. So for CT to make a gritty glitter lipstick is off-putting. 😬 And I already had Candy Chic. She launched it before and I’m glad she brought it back !!!!

It's not faulty. That glitter looks exactly like MAC Viva Glam IV from the 90s. It's a mauvey pink with kind of a gold glitter. It's still sold and I still love it! So this is good news to me.

If I'm not mistaken, I have been hearing people say that the first pink that feels gritty is a frosty metallic or similar to PMG BlitzTrane, but not as smooth? To my eye, it makes me think of those pink 80's frosted lipsticks that I went through multiple tubes of. Not my best lipstick moments...🤦🏻♀️ For my coloring (medium neutral olive skintone, dark hair, and blue-green eyes), I'm loving 90's Pink and Cinematic Red!

I passed on the liners as I have lots of mauve liners. I didn’t pick up a red, but I really do like that Cinematic Red on you! I’d love to see it compared to the new Natasha Denona Berry lipstick! Great review as always.
I ordered Icon Baby specifically because it has shimmer in it! 😂. Everyone loves different things. I’m glad Charlotte Tilbury switched it up a little. I heard Rocket Girl limited edition also has the shimmer.

Your reaction to the lipstick Icon Baby was exactly like mine! I literally thought something was wrong with the one that I purchased like maybe it had gone bad or something! Lol it was rough and gritty and I could feel the pieces on my lips, and when I looked in the mirror I could see glitter and I was just so confused because I had no idea that this was different than the other Kissing formula lipsticks. I can honestly say that I really like the color but I do not like the feel or the glitter or the grittiness and wish that she would reformulate this lipstick with the exact same color but in the regular kissing formula finish.

I don’t like the Icon Baby in the beginning because of the glitter and how it felt when applying it… like rubbing sand on the lip… however after I polished off the top layer of the lipstick, it turns out a lovely colour and just like the original kissing formula. For people have Icon baby and not using it because of the glittering… try to wrap off the top layer.
I love Charlotte Tilbury's lipstick formula! I only have the matte revolution & hot lips, so i ordered 3 of the pinks of the kissing formula 2 try..idk.. hopefully il like it as much of the others,does she not offer every color in every formula or do u have2 order a certain formula if u want a certain color
Charlotte's products all seem to pull orange on my skin tone. I'm thinking these will do the same. So many warm pinks. Disappointing. She doesn't really create products for us cool toned gals. Your gritty lipstick looks like what some of us older gals might think of as frosted. They always have a bit of grit to them.
The neutral rose colors are awful for my yellow sub-tone skin. So, I will not buy CT lipsticks as usual. The reds look nice but for the price I prefer to buy Dior, Givenchy or Chanel.
Honestly I think Charlotte should have consulted you before the release LOL! I mean who do they use in their focus groups? I like her products but not so much her lipsticks, but I really like her lip liners.
My icon baby has the same texture urs has,I think it's deliberate ,it's supposed 2 b that way,at 1st I can feel the particles,but after a few minutes it seems 2 melt away so it doesn't bother me,the only disappointment 4 me is icon baby is much darker in person,I was hoping it would b a lighter pink shade,but the color is still pretty

CT x Elton John released a KISSING lipstick with shimmers at Christmas. The shimmers dragged a hint on the lips but I forgot about them once applied. The shade looked stunning, especially when the light caught the multi-coloured flecks. Didn't leave any shimmers behind when the lipstick wore off. I'm interested to try Baby Icon to see of it is similar or different to the holiday lipstick. The pinks and reds looked beautiful on you! CT pinks have pulled orange on me (except for the original Stoned Rose), so I'm looking forward to trying a few shades and a red for sure. Thanks for your review!
Icon Baby is the perfect neutral pink if only it didn’t have the microglitters. It feels gritty upon application and when you rub your lips together. The glitter isn’t noticeable when you first apply but as the color fades, you can definitely see it AND it migrates. Wore this for a few your and I now have glitter about my top lip. Not flattering.
I picked up two and Icon baby is full of glittery gritty glitter ✨ it’s a bummer! I loved Red Carpet Pink.. I agree and just try to remove it! It’s more glitter not shimmer.. can’t wipe off..
I bought Pillow Talk lipstick and the formula is SO underwhelming for all the hype. I prefer my L'oreal lipsticks or Urban Decay 😪. I will say your reaction to the glitter was hilarious.
I'm loving my Ready for Lust Elton John lipstick, the deep berry one eith the glitter, but it's not for every day wear. Remember frosted lipstick? Revlon still does these. I think for nudes and pinks frost would be better than glitter. Btw, I'm liking the Rose to Fame. It kinda looks like the new Guerlain Cherry Blossom. What do you think? And is that Guerlain formula a good one?

I had a lipstick in the Kissing formula, can't remember name of the shade, I maybe get it like a gift with order, it was peachy brown color and it had the SAME gritty feeling, I hated it, but the colour was so pretty

I had a lipstick in the Kissing formula, can't remember name of the shade, I maybe get it like a gift with order, it was peachy brown color and it had the SAME gritty feeling, I hated it, but the colour was so pretty

I just got 90s pink and mine has a bit of glitter in it. Slight grainy feel when I smack my lips together which is a bit of a turn off for me
I am so on the fence. I was Al in for those pinks. But swatches next to her previous shades I worry these will turn orange on me like every other lipstick Charlotte makes.

I think you would love the Lisa Eldridge lip liners, they're very creamy but set down and last like the Charlotte ones do.
