Are both the tracks bidirectional? I asked because in Australia one would expect the trains to take the left side track on a double track section. BTW the Locomotive horn @ 8.00 was the typical ALCO horn which is still heard at times on Indian Railways.
Thank you for sharing. 6 months ago l got in to n scale trains /locomotives i have a benie barker. strem liner . I think what's there name 😕. good to see one on you channel thankyou 👍

To my knowledge yes. I'm sure there are some safe working exceptions though.
On some of these tracks, only one side is dual-guage and so some trains can only run on one of the tracks.
Beautiful compilation!! At 3:45, the condition of the track looks deplorable or is it due to compression caused by a long focal length??
A bit of both. The track is a bit wonky but the zoom makes it worse than what it is.
I thought the P classes were retired... why is it still running
Dave it is being hired
And they are now owned by ssr
nice
Yep fantastic looking loco now back in NSW for a stint.
How's that track looking at 3.50 ish, crikey giddy up.
It's not the only place in Melbourne either. The zoom does make it look worse than it is but it's still pretty ordinary.
@ 3:38 what third world country was that clip filmed in.
That was around Albion near Sunshine on the Bendigo line.
@@Schony747 I know where it was mate I was being facetious, it looks like some of the Chinese narrow gauge quarrie or mining railways.

HOly shit look at the state of that track @3:53... I've seen disused sidings with better track quality
Yes. It's basically a freight line with a couple of passenger services a week so it doesn't get a,lot of attention.
That rail line looks abit doddgy at the 4miin mark
It could do with a bit of tampering. The zoom makes it look worse than it actually is.
