Here are few things you can add to your blueprint Paul. 1. Disable post revisions code to your php config file. define('WP_POST_REVISIONS', false ); define('WP_POST_REVISIONS', 3 ); (Add any number you want if you want to restrict instead of completely delete) This doesn't work with Bricks revisions. See following 2. define( 'BRICKS_MAX_REVISIONS_TO_KEEP', 0 ); You can add any number you want in place of '0' This will help to keep the database clean and light. Otherwise database gets bloated with post revisions. Thanks
Very true and a good example of using a child theme and functions.php file to reduce the need for additional plugins to handle snippets. I'm still working on the Bricks Blueprint whereas my GP/GB one has some extensive code snippets added to the functions file. P.s. have a pinned comment for the great suggestions. :)
Very wise - I use Termageddon to handle the legal aspects of sites, so that is the main reason why I haven't generated static pages as part of the blueprint. :)
I'm starting to get into bricks but am totally confused by advanced themer, core framework, and acss. Are they similar, competing products? Can you do a video on those products and how they differ or if they're the same, which you prefer?
That's Interesting... I'm interested in everything that Bricksforge does! But I haven't heard of a 'blueprints' plugin from them.. will this be a part of Bricksforge or separate?
I just recently found your channel 2 questions: Is bricks a theme or builder? Can you can create a comprehensive video above security, how to protect the admin folder?
Bricks is a theme with a visual builder attached (you can't use different themes in the same way you can with tools like Elementor). I'm not a security expert, but I would recommend checking out The Admin Bar who are doing a special focus on WP security all this month. That should cover all the bases you need better than I can.
AT and CF are 2 different tools - CF is a full framework whereas AT is a tool to customise Bricks, speed up your workflow with a range of enhancements to the builder and CSS class management tools. You can, of course take advantage of the CSS framework tools it has but it isn't a framework out of the box. So, no conflicts between tools as I don't use AT to manage my CF setup.
Looks like you have totally switched to Bricks 😔 Your quality is great but as I am not using Bricks, I'm not going to watch many of these Bricks-videos.

@@WPTuts That's great and thank you very much.
Thanks Paul, I appreciate the mention ❤
No problem 👍
I also include a privacy policy and cookie pages (which then only needs tweaking)

Wow.. Didn't know you can custom template the login page with bricks. I should try that.

Would love to see a GP/GB blueprint too with child theme customizations if possible. That would be a great watch.
I'd recommend using the link in the video description to check out Kyle's GP/GB blueprint - it's a great watch and solid blueprint to learn from.
Such valuable content!!
Just wow 😳❤
The new plug coming up from Daniel from BricksForge is called Blueprints if I am not misstaken 😅
I believe it is. I’m looking forward to trying it out too. 😁

I wonder 🤔 Why would you install Core FrameWork when you already have Advanced Themer? Does it cause duplicate functionality, conflicting, heavy?

I'm using elementor for my clients. I think elementor have more options then bricks?? Whats your opinion
I prefer quality over quantity. ;)
"cock up your site". Never heard that one before
Rocking that Antifan shirt! Legend!
Just out of curiosity, what app are you using for screen recording?
A combination of Screenflow 10 and Screen Studio.
@@WPTuts That's what I thought. I recognized Screen Studio but was curious since the rest of it didn't look like it.
Greenshift
Do you use the Child Theme?
Yes, with Bricks I install it as standard. :)
Looks like you have totally switched to Bricks 😔 Your quality is great but as I am not using Bricks, I'm not going to watch many of these Bricks-videos.
Not totally, I still use GP/GB and will also still cover other tools when relevant.
😂😂😂 ANTIFAN
Honestly, I've had enough of Bricks, can't you find something else or are they paying you to much?
If only they were paying me.
If this content isn’t for you, feel free to skip the video.
Or maybe Paul just likes this builder and because this is his channel he can make videos about he fancies? 🤦🏻♀️🤔
What do you suggest as an alternative to bricks? Hopefully not elementor !
You can do the same for free with All in One Migration or Duplicator, or anything like that, just without the fancy external panel somewhere :)
Yup! But for me there are way more benefits to using InstaWP over just the migration aspect. It literally saves me multiple hours every week.
