I’ve been wearing mine 50+ hrs a week for the past year. Break in is easy. Putting them on can be frustrating with no strap on the back. Over all great boot. Can’t go wrong.
Just picked up a pair of these in the “vintage sterling” color through the black Friday sale.They’re fucking beautiful. I already bought the pair shown in this video, and I love the color, alternative lace color, and the soft comfort. The new vintage color has a softer leather feel...smoother. But the brown ones turn into a really cool darker color as you wear them more.... I gotta stop spending so much god damn money on Danner’s.
Neat! I have never been much of a fan of the the moc toe look, but these look like they would be worth a try!!!
I’ve had the bull run steel toe for about a year. Pretty great. Starting wearing danner acacdia in the marines. Haven’t let me down yet. Wish there were more dealers around wear you could try before you buy. Good video, go cubs! let’s get some (bull) runs.
I've had my pair of bull run moc toe for 2 years now wear them 40+ hours a week. and love them, I was going to resole them but now I can get these,I wanted to get these a while back but working in a kitchen the leather would get ruined way faster then my full grain, but I'm switching jobs and now can get these for my daily wear.
I got these exact boots and they are killer! Had them for a month now and wear them 2-3 times a week. They break in quick and look great dirty or clean. I recently fractured my foot and out of all my shoes these are the ones that I can actually wear and not have pain. Danner is killer and love their work out of PNW 503
Love mine I have both colors. I started wearing them for work because the are so damn comfortable but blasted through the sole. Getting them resoled with a vibram sole... Not sure if it will lose their amazing softness and comfort we will see. But I just love the style and the nubuck is so soft. I do feel like they are hot in summer I have hot feet though. Not sure if it's the polyester as your mentioned typically I hate any synthetics. For me they are great 3/4 of the year too hot when it goes above 90. 😊
I’ve had mine for almost 6 years . Bull runs dark brown minimum maint and only one recraft. I love these dancers
Just got a pair of Bull Runs in brown. Love the look and feel. Been wearing the last two days casually to break them in. A little discomfort where it's starting to crease but no pain or blisters. Love these boots.
I've had my Bull Run Moc Toe's for a year, and I wear them everyday, everywhere I go. They are the most comfortable footwear that I have ever put on my feet, and because of that, I even wear them outside of work. I ended up having to get a second pair to wear outside of work so that I could save my work boots for work. I absolutely adore these boots, and I will definitely recraft these when it comes time to.

@Josue I do use them for work! I work on concrete everyday, and I'm now going on 3 years of everyday use.
@@WordsDarkerThanTheirWings nice I got the dark brown bull runs and the stitching blew out where the lace holes were after a couple months, I wore them for about 10 months and figured I should send them back before the warranty expires. Im a roofer
Love my moc toe danners! Just bought my send pair after i ruined my first.. got them soaked through too many times and couldn't get the smell out.. still more comfortable than any of my shoes or orher boots!
Re-sole and use shoe trees.
Have the Bull Run Lux and breaking them in,a little tight around the heel but it feels it will be comfortable once I break them in 👍🏽. Great feeling boot

Just bought a pair of the Tobacco tanned leather.
I wear the 8 inch bull run christy for work in the summer, and those soles feel like a basketball shoe! Very soft walking on concrete (or anywhere else). I might need to get a pair of the lux just to have that kind of comfort when I'm not working. Danner is the best!

Just heads up, these soles will soak up water around, the heel especially. Ive never had it soak into the boot itself, however working on wet floors and puddles will make it pull moisture. Love mine though.

Nice review! Are these the Sunstone color? They look quite a bit darker in your video than on Danner's website.
How does this boot fit relative to the standard bull run? I know they are the same last, but does the lighter leather make the boot feel wider? I find the standard bull runs are just a touch tight.
So they’re too comfortable to be used as a work boot? That’s not making any sense
To lite-weight to be a work boot for me. But, you might like working in sneakers and gym shoes so they might be perfect for you.
Is the regular bull run built the same as these or is it more of a workboot?
I read somewhere that Danner wedge soles are thorogoods max wear soles with a danner logo. Do you know if that's true?

No not at all.
Just picked up a pair in vintage sterling and I love how they feel already. I'm a 9D on a brannock device and went with a 9.5 to accommodate a Superfeet orthodic (trailblazer) and Darn Tough socks. I was surprised by how narrow the 9 felt and the 9.5 is comfortably snug around the ball of my foot right out of the box. The hard countered heel and toe give it enough structure for my liking and I look forward to breaking them in on my upcoming trip to Europe.

Really trying to decide if I want these, or just the standard bull run moc toes. I’m looking for a daily go to shoe/boot that isn’t bulky like a typical work boot, but I can still treat like a work boot. (Run around in dirt and winter grime, and just be able to clean and condition once in a while). Anyone have any thoughts?

Bought a pair of each, but ended up returning the Luxs. It came down to the nubuck for me. Seemed way too hard to maintain and keep nice over time.
