I’m an old player coming back I’m glad to see that there are up to date guides my only suggestion is there is one thing you missed if you hear crow noises as you are exiting a map means there is an enemy player probobaly camping your exit you are headed too
I think the biggest killers for it is that it is not available on PC and that it is not noob friendly in a bad way. But aside from that, this game definetly has potential.
Beginners tips 1. Go in to your first few encounters with no guns or kit 2. Set your way point for the furthest exit 3. Avoid other players entirely 4. Loot everything you can on your way to the exit marker 5. Upgrade your safehouse incl workbench, water distillery, rat trap 1 and antenna. Play shootouts and elimination to get combat and game xp as well as the opportunity to get crates. When your ready go into an encounter looking for scalps.

I got into my first game, i couldn’t believe how good the audio was. I heard someone miles away, got out my gun n shot him he seemed like a noob too. He was stacked i didn’t know what else to do so i looted and went straight for the exit. Haha good game i think it’s supposed to be like tarkov but for console or something. Great video

Would _LOVE_ to click on the Equip tab after finishing the Tutorial, but it... as well as all of the other tabs are locked. Can't open the air drop crate from the tutorial because one video said to take it to the workbench just inside the cabin and to the left. However, the only thing there is a piece of furniture with a record player on it and Shelter Ambiance (Level 1) unlocked.
My brother introduced me to this game a couple of years ago. Him and my friend somehow have zero interest in playing it, and i lost interest only in not having anyone to play with 😮💨 just booted it back up for the first time in 2 years. Thank you for the video. Have a lot to catch up on.
Yeah the game is harder to keep playing alone. I’ve always played with people and just now starting to play alone on my own time. If you wanna play with people just load up in a match and send some friend requests out to the other players and eventually you’ll get with people you vibe with. Yes. While your character is on your screen and you are back at the shelter, press on your options button to pull up the invitation slide, then click on and empty slot and choose a friend. 👍 **You can’t match make with a team of 3. In order to have a team you have to invite friends. Or else you just play alone
Yep. Building your base, acquiring material loot to get further in the shelter, getting kills, or going for the more valuable weapon loot locations like the barred house, locked container, timed safe and buried catche to add more to your stash. on top of all this all that gets you xp to get further in the seasons so you can acquire cosmetics, skins, weapon plans, crates and crowns. Hope this answers your question. Edit: So you build your shelter up so you can do things easier. Some examples are Like crafting all the guns if you build the crafting table all the way or if you build rat traps you get food you then donate to the donation box to get crates/rewards. I’d start on crafting table to be able to craft better meds quick. Then I’d start working on water distilation and utility room to instant craft at a lower cost. The last usefull one is then chemical distilation to deconstruct everything you no longer use and craft what you want AKA plates and ports. Gold crates you can just farm in elimination if you’re decent, kind of makes food trash unfortunately.

Yeah it’s a great game it’s just the devs don’t do the best job with their approach with how they run the game. The game could be so much better and so many more people could know about it.
I tried it yesterday for the 1st time I did 2 rounds. I couldn't figure out how to store my loot before launching into the second round. If anybody can tell me that would be great
By “store your loot” do you mean - putting it back in your stash? - After you survive a match you’ll have all the weapon loot in your loadout when you get back to the shelter. When back in the shelter go to the loadout tab then with the dpad then go across to the right side of the screen (where your inventory slots are) and whatever you want to put back in your stash you just have to press A on it.. or X for PlayStation and it will go into your stash.

Opening crates. that’s how you get blueprints. Unfortunately, there’s somewhat of a problem with vigor right now with obtaining blueprints that I’ve seen many people talk about within the vigor community and it’s something the developers are trying to fix. It never used to be as hard as it is to get blueprints. But just open crates. And tbh if you get the AKM blueprint.. that’s all you need. The akm is the most balanced gun in the game made for all types of combat, short, medium and long range and it’s a grey/common ranked gun. So it’s easy to get and takes 1 minute to build once you get the blueprint. Going on about your strategy.. As a beginner grabbing and going is the best strategy. There will come a time in the future where you will have so much built in the shelter that you won’t just have to focus on just looting anymore and you can then actually have real fun with vigor and just focus on kills. So yea man have fun.
I played this game like 3 years ago I didn’t have Xbox gold live so I couldn’t play it so I uninstalled it now I forgot how to play and stuff and forgot what the game taught me in the tutorial
I wish you would've explain how the loadout works. There is 4 slots for guns but you can only switch between 2 guns. How do you switch between all 4 guns. How do you switch your guns around?
To switch between all 4 guns you just hold R1 for PS4 or RB for Xbox to pull up the weapon wheel, then select what weapon you want with the controllers right stick while you’re still holding R1 or RB. Yeah the point of this video was to just have mostly everything but at the same time I knew i would forget somethings. Sometimes it’s best just to do something cuz trying to make it perfect for everyone or every question sometimes goes beyond my control. But thanks for asking about something you weren’t sure how to do. hope this helped :)
You can't quickly switch to all guns. The only thing you can do is switch quickly to 2 guns, which i believe will be the 2 most recent guns you have equipped. To equip the others, you need to hold the switch weapon button to open a wheel and select a weapon.
Don't play Encounter despite XP being better than Shootout. There's always team Elimination. And if you spawn between 2 enemies, you can always start over. Vigor actually does have a home team because it's faster to level up on the Battle Pass with 🤑
Yeah there is the special issue elim strategy, And people could do that to level up. But the thing about that is nine times out of ten if players are always playing elim and sweating in it, when they get in an encounter they get wiped. How to actually get good in vigor is to play encounter mainly but every now and then play elim or shootout. But I get it if someone tries all the game modes and encounter just isn’t their thing, then you always have shootout and elim.

All right, so yes, and no. Let me explain so you understand fully. When you buy a legacy season or any bundle or pack, all the clothing cosmetics, crowns, and weapon plans you keep. Guns and consumables.. if you take them out into a game and you die in that game, you will lose that loot. Except if you buy insurance while you are in the lobby countdown in a match, insurance is a type of booster.. There are 3 types of boosters within encounter lobbies, (more loot, better crate, and insurance.) All boosters cost a certain number of crowns. All the crowns that you are getting in whatever season, You will only lose them if you spend them. If you have anymore questions, I’ll be glad to answer them. Edit: ^all this that I just told you applies to every pack or bundle that you can purchase in the Vigor game. But going further, my advice to you is don’t pay for insurance just because you’re scared of losing the things that are able to be lost within whatever pack that you bought. I know because you bought it it’s reasonable for you to think that you should keep it, But losing things is a part of a vigor. It really just comes down to you building your shelter, and you going out in an encounter and finding weapons and Loot because in the end, you’re gonna have a whole crap load of weapons regardless. So don’t waste your crowns on pointless things when you really don’t need to spend them. Because crowns are the most valuable currency in vigor.
My friend asked me to get this game so i got it. But why is there so many people that insta headshot you like 300m away with an AR? Most of the time its not even someone who used the wierd sonar tower thing. It kind of ruins the fun because i instantly die sneaking around a corner and a guy that got the threat status ran across half of the map and somehow knows where i am?
lol if they’re not using the main signal detector or portable signal detector at all, they are most likely unfairly teaming in encounters. But for most the time that’s not the case, and they probably signal detecting you without you paying attention. Because vigor isn’t really about loot for players that have been playing for a while and more so about killing. So they’ll track you down. And sometimes it’s sus how they do it and if they’re cheating or teaming. I don’t know how you play, but it could also be lack of awareness as a beginner lol you might think it’s hard for them to see you when really it’s not. Idk. But there is such thing as noob assist instant headshot, so there’s that.
@@crazygorillaxyt i usually stick to the edges of the map or smaller buildings, im quite a careful camper at the moment because im still learning but I do pay alot of attention, more than my friend atleast, he doesn't even notice when the pop up on the screen telling you about the sonar ping😂 Its probably just me being a noob anyway😅
Great game. I am new to this game and there is still a lot to explore but I do not understand how I lose so many gunfights... In CoD Warzone Apex and so on I have a great KD but in Vigor it's hard to understand for me how I get killed faster... Moreover how to rotate around the maps is still something to be figured out by me. Nevertheless ❤️ learning by hard and it's fun
Maybe I can make a best gun guide. But you’re probably getting killed by a lot m249s because it’s currently a broken gun. Best gun to use as a beginner is the AKM. It’s actually one of the best guns in the game.
you can craft akms by using weapon parts if you don’t have the weapon plan. You get weapon plans from opening crates. You will probably end up getting the akm plan if you open some common and uncommon crates because the akm is a common/grey weapon aka a cheap gun. If you don’t know really what I’m talking about lol.. my next video I’m going full detail on teaching you guys how to understand the shelter.
Another thing why you may be loosing a lot of battles is because vigor is a game of balancing your passiveness and aggressiveness. The audio is really good and you can hear footsteps and movement really good, even crawling. You can rush, But also know your limits. You can be as aggressive as u like but also simultaneously treat it as a stealth game. As a beginner I know u just want to annihilate but my best advice to you is to just focus on looting for your first month of playing because the more you die the more you loose as a beginner. But once you build up your shelter a bit more established, then from there you won’t loose as much because you invested time into gaining more resources. OH ALSO - DONT SPEND CROWNS!

The only way is if someone hits the com station before you, and they hit the radiation option, and then you go to another com station, the radiation won’t show up as an option because it’s already been selected. That means the AirDrop is radiated. But keep in mind this is hit or miss because you would have to do it within the com station time window.
How to do the games tutorial? You press the options button on the controller, go to options, game, then scroll all the way down the screen to “play tutorial”
Play passive aggressive, Zigzag and jump shoot. That’s all u need. If you have bad guns like pistols or knives then don’t fight. Know your battles. If that’s the case then just loot and leave. If you want to get better at combat play elimination and shootout.
NOTE TO ALL NEW PLAYERS. One thing not mentioned here is MAKE SURE before you start heading out into encounters . CLICK ON the seasonal challenges tab. Just open it. IF YOU DONT you will not get the credit issued to seasonal challenges. For instance I played for a month before I even saw that tab and had already made it out with 15 air drops BUT the seasonal challenge of loot 5 air drops to complete still said zero of 5 done. Simply because I never clicked on that tab yet. Dont get robbed by the game like I did.
You got to find an exit and leave when the radiation comes. If you keep on dying, then start putting iodine in your loadout and take it when you’re in the radiation, it will slower you death time.
The tutorial is still the same regardless of what console you’re using. But lol switch is in my own experience a bad/clunky gameplay experience and isn’t really that fun even if you’re using a controller. But if you’re used to playing on switch it shouldn’t be a problem. 👍
Your map blocked the view I believe you skipped over how when you pick up a care package, everyone in the match / game with you will be able to pull up and see your location on the map from that point forward till you either die or escape. And it’s a live location tracker so you can basically watch the every move and step you take so the thing is. Soon as you get a air package . You need to run as fast as you can to an exit. Put both weapons away by holding down Y so you run faster if you have caffeine pills use them to be able to sprint longer and just haul ass if someone in a distance is shooting at you try to move around but ignore em and just sprint sprint sprint only fight if you have too cause the longer you wait in one spot the more likely you’ll be surrounded once others catch up to you as well. Also, You can also find randomly Care packages in loot containers. So you may accidentally pick them up in the beginning of a match and once you pick it up, you CAN NOT put it back down. You HAVE to die or escape so run back to exit. No reason risking it by trying to loot more. Hope it helps.
So I played this game when it first come out then quit didn’t play much at all but the past 4 days I been grinding this game having fun but today I ran into a really low level player I shot at him and missed then ran around for a min he got behind me and had me about 1/2 hp shooting me in the back I got around a corner and turned my shoulder cam to get the angle on him and then he was doing some crazy like zig zagging back and forth dodging all my shots has anyone else ran into this? Was he cheating or it is something you can do cause if so I need someone to tell me how because it’s OP!
Yep that’s a combat maneuver. I could make a tutorial on it. The simplest way to do it is to just zigzag normally. But the crazy back and forth thing you’re talking about actually takes practice and is somewhat hard.
Yes. When you get into the shelter press the start/options button on your controller and it pulls up a “my team” list and you press on a free slot and then invite all the people you want but keep in mind that you can only have 3 player teams in encounter, up to 5 in elimination and you can only play shootout solo. Have fun!
@@crazygorillaxyt I'm not perfect when I speak either but I do make an effort to try and speak properly, not valley girl. By all means you do you but people will always judge you initially by how you speak and that is something completely beyond your control as far as people deciding what type of person you are. But you are in control of yourself and that allows some control on how they perceive you.
The key is to honestly just not care lol. I speak how I want if people judge me it truly has nothing to do with me you know. The real question they gotta ask themselves is why are they so judgmental towards others? People just gotta be not so triggered by people just expressing themselves how they want. because when someone is being judged, it never has got to do with the person being judged, it always got to do with something internally that the judger is doing or behaving within themselves. So yeah that’s why people honestly just got to not care because when you realize you’re not the problem and it’s just something within the other person, you free yourself from caring so much and just express yourself.
That’s okay I know the game is complicated. there’s many videos online that are shorter that you can find on how to play. Or if you want you can just ask me some questions here on what you need help with and I’ll teach you the best I can.
Lol NUMBER 1.. jk 1.Before starting an encounter put one weapon in your load out with about only 60 ammo- preferably an assault rifle for starters. No pistols, shotguns or knives because most grey, green, and blue shotguns, pistols and knives are all useless. Also Bring a healing consumable - bring 2 disinfectants and 1 bandage. If you don’t have the plan for one of these just bring out either a bandage or disinfectant. 2.Pick what map you want to load into. Once you go into a game.. 3.Go and loot You can really go where ever you want but I would recommend just going to random houses and looting, then going to an extraction point for your first 50 matches and only getting into fights if someone tries to kill you. As a beginner you don’t want to focus on killing but rather focus on grinding and building the shelter- if you want to better understand the complicated mess of the shelter- I made a video here: th-cam.com/video/ZKRgaxyGtOY/w-d-xo.html 4.Go to the signal detector, once you’re there press it then get into cover fast but close by and pull up your map by pressing up⬆️ on the dpad and you’ll see these red icons all over the map.. that’s the temporary player icons that is showing you where players are. If you press the signal detector and don’t see any icons at all it means you didn’t look at the map fast enough and the TEMPORARY icons disappeared. So get into quick cover and pull up the map. If people’s signals are jammed it will tell you as a message appears on the screen after you hit the signal detector. If players are jammed it means you can’t see them. 5.Optional- go to a com station and select “stealth” if you want to get the airdrop. So you won’t be shown on the radar when you’re carrying the airdrop. Optional- 6.Wait for the airdrop by going to the big green circle on the map. Then when it drops, loot it. ⚠️be aware of the other enemy players that will be hunting you.⚠️ 7.Go to and orange exit icon on the edges of the map. 8.Once you get back to the shelter, go into the LOADOUT tab and take all the loot out of your inventory and put it into your stash by pressing A for Xbox or X for PlayStation. 9. Do this process again This is how you should play as a beginner. As you start playing more and getting better, then you can take bigger risks and go loot higher loot like the locked container, timed safe and board house. But the main thing is as a beginner to get in and get out. Because overtime you’ll gain more even if in one match it seems as if you’re collecting scraps. REMEMBER if you die with any loot and with anything you took out in the encounter that’s in your loadout, you will loose it all. As you play more and gain more experience you’ll be able to come back to this video and learn more and understand. If it’s still hard to understand even given these steps. I would just say play the game because sometimes experience can be your teacher better than learning it from someone else.

Would _LOVE_ to click on the Equip tab after finishing the Tutorial, but it... as well as all of the other tabs are locked. Can't open the air drop crate from the tutorial because one video said to take it to the workbench just inside the cabin and to the left. However, the only thing there is a piece of furniture with a record player on it and Shelter Ambiance (Level 1) unlocked.

Yes. While your character is on your screen and you are back at the shelter, press on your options button to pull up the invitation slide, then click on and empty slot and choose a friend. 👍
**You can’t match make with a team of 3. In order to have a team you have to invite friends. Or else you just play alone

What exactly is the point of the game? That’s the part I don’t get. Like you build up your base for what?
Yep. Building your base, acquiring material loot to get further in the shelter, getting kills, or going for the more valuable weapon loot locations like the barred house, locked container, timed safe and buried catche to add more to your stash. on top of all this all that gets you xp to get further in the seasons so you can acquire cosmetics, skins, weapon plans, crates and crowns. Hope this answers your question.
Edit: So you build your shelter up so you can do things easier. Some examples are Like crafting all the guns if you build the crafting table all the way or if you build rat traps you get food you then donate to the donation box to get crates/rewards. I’d start on crafting table to be able to craft better meds quick. Then I’d start working on water distilation and utility room to instant craft at a lower cost. The last usefull one is then chemical distilation to deconstruct everything you no longer use and craft what you want AKA plates and ports. Gold crates you can just farm in elimination if you’re decent, kind of makes food trash unfortunately.

I tried it yesterday for the 1st time I did 2 rounds. I couldn't figure out how to store my loot before launching into the second round. If anybody can tell me that would be great
By “store your loot” do you mean - putting it back in your stash? - After you survive a match you’ll have all the weapon loot in your loadout when you get back to the shelter. When back in the shelter go to the loadout tab then with the dpad then go across to the right side of the screen (where your inventory slots are) and whatever you want to put back in your stash you just have to press A on it.. or X for PlayStation and it will go into your stash.

Im newton the game. My strategy is to grap and go. But. How do u obtain blue prints for weapons? Can u buy them ?
Opening crates. that’s how you get blueprints. Unfortunately, there’s somewhat of a problem with vigor right now with obtaining blueprints that I’ve seen many people talk about within the vigor community and it’s something the developers are trying to fix. It never used to be as hard as it is to get blueprints. But just open crates. And tbh if you get the AKM blueprint.. that’s all you need. The akm is the most balanced gun in the game made for all types of combat, short, medium and long range and it’s a grey/common ranked gun. So it’s easy to get and takes 1 minute to build once you get the blueprint.
Going on about your strategy.. As a beginner grabbing and going is the best strategy. There will come a time in the future where you will have so much built in the shelter that you won’t just have to focus on just looting anymore and you can then actually have real fun with vigor and just focus on kills. So yea man have fun.

I wish you would've explain how the loadout works. There is 4 slots for guns but you can only switch between 2 guns. How do you switch between all 4 guns. How do you switch your guns around?
To switch between all 4 guns you just hold R1 for PS4 or RB for Xbox to pull up the weapon wheel, then select what weapon you want with the controllers right stick while you’re still holding R1 or RB.
Yeah the point of this video was to just have mostly everything but at the same time I knew i would forget somethings. Sometimes it’s best just to do something cuz trying to make it perfect for everyone or every question sometimes goes beyond my control.

You can't quickly switch to all guns. The only thing you can do is switch quickly to 2 guns, which i believe will be the 2 most recent guns you have equipped. To equip the others, you need to hold the switch weapon button to open a wheel and select a weapon.

Don't play Encounter despite XP being better than Shootout. There's always team Elimination. And if you spawn between 2 enemies, you can always start over. Vigor actually does have a home team because it's faster to level up on the Battle Pass with 🤑
And I'm not even carrying the football to get hit on both sides! Good sportsmanship? It's hard when you get a bad break
Yeah there is the special issue elim strategy, And people could do that to level up. But the thing about that is nine times out of ten if players are always playing elim and sweating in it, when they get in an encounter they get wiped. How to actually get good in vigor is to play encounter mainly but every now and then play elim or shootout. But I get it if someone tries all the game modes and encounter just isn’t their thing, then you always have shootout and elim.

All right, so yes, and no. Let me explain so you understand fully.
When you buy a legacy season or any bundle or pack, all the clothing cosmetics, crowns, and weapon plans you keep. Guns and consumables.. if you take them out into a game and you die in that game, you will lose that loot. Except if you buy insurance while you are in the lobby countdown in a match, insurance is a type of booster.. There are 3 types of boosters within encounter lobbies, (more loot, better crate, and insurance.) All boosters cost a certain number of crowns. All the crowns that you are getting in whatever season, You will only lose them if you spend them.
If you have anymore questions, I’ll be glad to answer them.
Edit: ^all this that I just told you applies to every pack or bundle that you can purchase in the Vigor game.
But going further, my advice to you is don’t pay for insurance just because you’re scared of losing the things that are able to be lost within whatever pack that you bought. I know because you bought it it’s reasonable for you to think that you should keep it, But losing things is a part of a vigor.
It really just comes down to you building your shelter, and you going out in an encounter and finding weapons and Loot because in the end, you’re gonna have a whole crap load of weapons regardless. So don’t waste your crowns on pointless things when you really don’t need to spend them. Because crowns are the most valuable currency in vigor.
My friend asked me to get this game so i got it. But why is there so many people that insta headshot you like 300m away with an AR? Most of the time its not even someone who used the wierd sonar tower thing. It kind of ruins the fun because i instantly die sneaking around a corner and a guy that got the threat status ran across half of the map and somehow knows where i am?
lol if they’re not using the main signal detector or portable signal detector at all, they are most likely unfairly teaming in encounters. But for most the time that’s not the case, and they probably signal detecting you without you paying attention. Because vigor isn’t really about loot for players that have been playing for a while and more so about killing. So they’ll track you down. And sometimes it’s sus how they do it and if they’re cheating or teaming. I don’t know how you play, but it could also be lack of awareness as a beginner lol you might think it’s hard for them to see you when really it’s not. Idk. But there is such thing as noob assist instant headshot, so there’s that.
@@crazygorillaxyt i usually stick to the edges of the map or smaller buildings, im quite a careful camper at the moment because im still learning but I do pay alot of attention, more than my friend atleast, he doesn't even notice when the pop up on the screen telling you about the sonar ping😂 Its probably just me being a noob anyway😅

Great game. I am new to this game and there is still a lot to explore but I do not understand how I lose so many gunfights... In CoD Warzone Apex and so on I have a great KD but in Vigor it's hard to understand for me how I get killed faster... Moreover how to rotate around the maps is still something to be figured out by me.

Maybe I can make a best gun guide. But you’re probably getting killed by a lot m249s because it’s currently a broken gun. Best gun to use as a beginner is the AKM. It’s actually one of the best guns in the game.
you can craft akms by using weapon parts if you don’t have the weapon plan. You get weapon plans from opening crates. You will probably end up getting the akm plan if you open some common and uncommon crates because the akm is a common/grey weapon aka a cheap gun.
If you don’t know really what I’m talking about lol.. my next video I’m going full detail on teaching you guys how to understand the shelter.
Another thing why you may be loosing a lot of battles is because vigor is a game of balancing your passiveness and aggressiveness. The audio is really good and you can hear footsteps and movement really good, even crawling. You can rush, But also know your limits. You can be as aggressive as u like but also simultaneously treat it as a stealth game. As a beginner I know u just want to annihilate but my best advice to you is to just focus on looting for your first month of playing because the more you die the more you loose as a beginner. But once you build up your shelter a bit more established, then from there you won’t loose as much because you invested time into gaining more resources. OH ALSO - DONT SPEND CROWNS!

All the tabs are locked, except outlands and customize.

Is there a way to tell if the airdrop is radioactive?
The only way is if someone hits the com station before you, and they hit the radiation option, and then you go to another com station, the radiation won’t show up as an option because it’s already been selected. That means the AirDrop is radiated.
But keep in mind this is hit or miss because you would have to do it within the com station time window.

Play passive aggressive, Zigzag and jump shoot. That’s all u need. If you have bad guns like pistols or knives then don’t fight. Know your battles. If that’s the case then just loot and leave. If you want to get better at combat play elimination and shootout.

NOTE TO ALL NEW PLAYERS. One thing not mentioned here is MAKE SURE before you start heading out into encounters . CLICK ON the seasonal challenges tab. Just open it. IF YOU DONT you will not get the credit issued to seasonal challenges.
For instance I played for a month before I even saw that tab and had already made it out with 15 air drops BUT the seasonal challenge of loot 5 air drops to complete still said zero of 5 done. Simply because I never clicked on that tab yet. Dont get robbed by the game like I did.

You got to find an exit and leave when the radiation comes. If you keep on dying, then start putting iodine in your loadout and take it when you’re in the radiation, it will slower you death time.

The tutorial is still the same regardless of what console you’re using. But lol switch is in my own experience a bad/clunky gameplay experience and isn’t really that fun even if you’re using a controller. But if you’re used to playing on switch it shouldn’t be a problem. 👍
Your map blocked the view
I believe you skipped over how when you pick up a care package, everyone in the match / game with you will be able to pull up and see your location on the map from that point forward till you either die or escape.
And it’s a live location tracker so you can basically watch the every move and step you take so the thing is.
Soon as you get a air package . You need to run as fast as you can to an exit.
Put both weapons away by holding down Y so you run faster if you have caffeine pills use them to be able to sprint longer and just haul ass if someone in a distance is shooting at you try to move around but ignore em and just sprint sprint sprint only fight if you have too cause the longer you wait in one spot the more likely you’ll be surrounded once others catch up to you as well.
Also,
You can also find randomly Care packages in loot containers.
So you may accidentally pick them up in the beginning of a match and once you pick it up, you CAN NOT put it back down.
You HAVE to die or escape so run back to exit.
No reason risking it by trying to loot more.

So I played this game when it first come out then quit didn’t play much at all but the past 4 days I been grinding this game having fun but today I ran into a really low level player I shot at him and missed then ran around for a min he got behind me and had me about 1/2 hp shooting me in the back I got around a corner and turned my shoulder cam to get the angle on him and then he was doing some crazy like zig zagging back and forth dodging all my shots has anyone else ran into this? Was he cheating or it is something you can do cause if so I need someone to tell me how because it’s OP!
Yep that’s a combat maneuver. I could make a tutorial on it. The simplest way to do it is to just zigzag normally. But the crazy back and forth thing you’re talking about actually takes practice and is somewhat hard.

When you get into the shelter press the start/options button on your controller and it pulls up a “my team” list and you press on a free slot and then invite all the people you want but keep in mind that you can only have 3 player teams in encounter, up to 5 in elimination and you can only play shootout solo. By all means you do you but people will always judge you initially by how you speak and that is something completely beyond your control as far as people deciding what type of person you are. But you are in control of yourself and that allows some control on how they perceive you.
The key is to honestly just not care lol. I speak how I want if people judge me it truly has nothing to do with me you know. The real question they gotta ask themselves is why are they so judgmental towards others? People just gotta be not so triggered by people just expressing themselves how they want. because when someone is being judged, it never has got to do with the person being judged, it always got to do with something internally that the judger is doing or behaving within themselves. So yeah that’s why people honestly just got to not care because when you realize you’re not the problem and it’s just something within the other person, you free yourself from caring so much and just express yourself.

Lol NUMBER 1.. jk
1.Before starting an encounter put one weapon in your load out with about only 60 ammo- preferably an assault rifle for starters. No pistols, shotguns or knives because most grey, green, and blue shotguns, pistols and knives are all useless. Also Bring a healing consumable - bring 2 disinfectants and 1 bandage. If you don’t have the plan for one of these just bring out either a bandage or disinfectant.
2.Pick what map you want to load into.
Once you go into a game..
3.Go and loot
You can really go where ever you want but I would recommend just going to random houses and looting, then going to an extraction point for your first 50 matches and only getting into fights if someone tries to kill you.
As a beginner you don’t want to focus on killing but rather focus on grinding and building the shelter- if you want to better understand the complicated mess of the shelter- I made a video here: th-cam.com/video/ZKRgaxyGtOY/w-d-xo.html
4.Go to the signal detector, once you’re there press it then get into cover fast but close by and pull up your map by pressing up⬆️ on the dpad and you’ll see these red icons all over the map.. that’s the temporary player icons that is showing you where players are. If you press the signal detector and don’t see any icons at all it means you didn’t look at the map fast enough and the TEMPORARY icons disappeared. So get into quick cover and pull up the map. If people’s signals are jammed it will tell you as a message appears on the screen after you hit the signal detector. If players are jammed it means you can’t see them.
5.Optional- go to a com station and select “stealth” if you want to get the airdrop. So you won’t be shown on the radar when you’re carrying the airdrop.
Optional- 6.Wait for the airdrop by going to the big green circle on the map. Then when it drops, loot it. ⚠️be aware of the other enemy players that will be hunting you.⚠️
7.Go to and orange exit icon on the edges of the map.
8.Once you get back to the shelter, go into the LOADOUT tab and take all the loot out of your inventory and put it into your stash by pressing A for Xbox or X for PlayStation.
9. Do this process again
This is how you should play as a beginner. As you start playing more and getting better, then you can take bigger risks and go loot higher loot like the locked container, timed safe and board house.
But the main thing is as a beginner to get in and get out. Because overtime you’ll gain more even if in one match it seems as if you’re collecting scraps.
REMEMBER if you die with any loot and with anything you took out in the encounter that’s in your loadout, you will loose it all.
As you play more and gain more experience you’ll be able to come back to this video and learn more and understand.
If it’s still hard to understand even given these steps. I would just say play the game because sometimes experience can be your teacher better than learning it from someone else.

Dude… lol just aim and shoot it’s obvious. Make sure to move around more (zigzag) and balance your play within passive and full on rushing.
