Classic, epic Jim Baird adventure. OK....I gotta ask.....wouldn't it be fun to do a blooper reel? You do a great job editing, but I'm thinking there are some epic fail moments being edited out.
Me to wife, " Time to hit the sack". 15 min later. Wife to me, "Thought you were going to bed". " I was, but Big Jim just dropped another video". Wife, drops beside me and says, " Hell yea". Love this gal and we love you. Keep up the good work!
Woo here we go again. I always wait until I have no distractions and done things to truly enjoy these episodes. Best adventure show on youtube, no fakery, no added drama or scenes, just raw and real. 😁👍👌
So many great quotes in this episode... “filet and release”... “hunger is the best seasoning”.... “my Olde English is about as bad as my French” ...(BTW, my vote is for ‘loathsome’) loved the whole thing. Such a beautiful river. Appeared to be a great campsite. And the sound of the fish sizzling... mmmm. Thanks for taking the time to film, edit and share with us.
Just want to reach out and thank you for sharing your adventures with us subscribers. I look forward to tuning in to all your paddling and fishing adventures Jim. I personally am not physically able to go on these type of adventures anymore as I used to when I was younger, so I get to live them through you. I can only hope you continue to keep providing me and others like myself this wonderful content to watch for many years to come. Again Thank You! Im from western Massachusetts and have extremely limited walleye (pickerel) water to fish, and must say I would have loved to been at that fire enjoying that catch because I know what a delicacy they are to eat....
Indeed that are, thanks a lot for the encouraging comment and support. It goes a long way. Great thst you’re getting some joy out of living vicariously!
I've been binge watching this series all day! 👍 It's one of my favorites! Thanks Jim! You're one tough cookie! Much love to you, Torey, and Wesley from Michigan
Cranes.. The most welcomed sound in spring. When they return, you know there wont be any more harsh winter days ahead. About Daddy Long Legs, as i understand it, they are the only critters that actually feed on tics. Be kind to them you all.. 😊As always, thank you for sharing this epic adventure in this amazing nature Jim!
Another wonderful episode! Fillet and release, cracked me up. Loved the cool-aid comment too, very funny! Looking forward to the next one! Thanks for sharing! :) :)
Oh this was a good one indeed! I really enjoyed it. The osprey and the calling you did was pretty cool! The fishing, the log jams, and ending the day by the fire eating your catch brings back many memories. Thanks for sharing 👍
Another great video Jim. It’s the simplest of things that makes these trips the best. If people learn anything from your videos it’s to enjoy the simple tasks. After 5 days I enjoy the boiling of water , cutting wood , the lace slows to real life .
I look fwd to it. The long ones are the best ones. Baffin Island with buck.. rip buck... and the trip in the nwt were just amazing. The trip with Ted when you cut ur hand open and the long house at Shawn's.... sadly that ended but I have seen them all. Love them!!! I think after lockdown you all should catch up for a week trip. You Ted Shawn Joe Doug... joe.. bring Kyle, Jon Erin and Chris wood beard corrin Ryan... What a great video that would make. The Canadian bushcraft version of the expendables!! Tori and Heather too cuz who doesn't love Heather's food reviews!!
Loved your Osprey call…very impressive….well your videos carried me through the night again…never tired of your work….I see interesting detail each time….miss the wilds in early 50’s
Hey Jim, I just had one of those hard days. So frigging nice to sit down and have a few Crown Royals on a empty stomach. hehehe It's snowing here in Colorado. Nice to see some green nature and fishing and just be there with you my friend. Take Care and keep doing what you do brother.
Wow !! This video is just outstanding , and has a little of everything . Beautiful scenery , stunning underwater fish release , second " bush " fish release to feed OUR Bald Eagle so he can get the hell back home to America :D Drop in information so we can learn , and that finish, with the F.Y. mom :D ...
