Thank you for sharing your experience and insights. What I love about your channel is your transparency and relatability. Most of the other KDP channels are just full of promises and clickbaiting.
I'm always looking forward to watch and learn from your videos. As someone who's new in amazon KDP, I find your content very helpful and realistic at the same time. Keep it up and all the best. ☺️

Thanks so much! As I'm growing my channel I promise to remain transparent and helpful, with a few sprinkles of inspiration as well :).

Interesting look at your year. In October, my CTR and conversion rates were a bit below average, so I've got to figure out how to increase the numbers in those areas. Doing the math, I saw that if I could have been AVERAGE, I could have doubled my profits for the month. A quote from my daily journal: "When it’s all been said and done, had I only been average this month, my profits would have almost doubled. Crap. I’ve got to figure out how to just be average!" My CPC was reasonable at $0.32. My Impressions steadily rose through the month, though my CTR was only 0.32%. My conversion rate was horrible at 5.6%. I ran a Lottery campaign all month and I'm wondering how much that effected my overall CTR and conversion rates. The numbers were, naturally, better when I took out the campaigns that were not working. They were skewing the good numbers, sucking the life out of my profits. It's all about making adjustments and keeping a close eye on cumulative ad spend vs. royalties.

Thanks for sharing :). Yeah it's all about tweaking, turning off ads that are not converting well, or if an ad isn't converting changing the cover etc.

Great ACOS! I run some of my ads at a bit of a loss (~30% overall) but make it up on the organic. I'm working on bringing it down and having some success, but I have some ways to go.
In addition to keyword campaigns, I'm experimenting with auto campaigns. I like that the autos require lower CPC, but getting the algorithm up and running on working search terms seems to take some time.
The one time I tried a product campaign it backfired like your mandala one. It was clearly not a competitive book, but I am hoping to try again with a different title sometime.

Thank you, it's a constant balance between going a bit harder with new releases and tinkering and trying to reduce acos :)

@@selfpublishingempire I edited my comment not realising you had replied already! Initially I made my comment 3 minutes in, then got to the end of your video and I wanted to share more of my experiences.

@@christinelayne7546 Thanks! Like you said so much depends on the book and the niche rather than the ads themselves. I've made some books I've loved that just haven't sold well with ads tend to go on and flop, so it's a good idea to test and learn :)

Hi, the campaigns with low acos, do you use exact, phrase or broad? Also, down only or fixed bids? Thanks

On auto ads, do you have 1 auto campaign for each match type or you keep all 4 in only 1 campaign?

Around 19500$ in profit by 10 months it's not bad score.

Hoping that the next 2 months should hopefully see a nice little increase as well! 🤞
