@@BeeRoyLee I am, but I went into the Apple store and they days there will be up to a 5 day down time if I give it to them to repair. They said I can just buy a 2nd one and they will refund me my original purchase. That way I can keep using it with a separate screen and do a final time machine backup on my own schedule when the new one comes in.
@@BeeRoyLeeThat is basically what I am doing, but they consider it a "custom build" (Nano-Texture Display, 48GB RAM, 1TB Storage, built after order and ships from China: not already sitting in a warehouse in the US), so it takes almost 2 weeks to get to me. So instead of "return and then purchase another", if I don't want any down time then I have to "purchase another and then return".
My guess is the Sequoia OS being incompatible with Ultrawide screen? If that's the case I would be pissed if I bought the second laptop which still hasn't fixed problem
@@M_Catch I don't think the ultrawide is causing any problems. The problem originally showed up while I was using the laptop by itself at a coffee shop. I was fairly lucky that the coffee shop was a few hundred feet from an Apple store, where I took it in and got only a little run-around. They say they are going to let me return this laptop and get a full refund, so until my new one shows up I am stuck using this laptop as a desktop, ergo the setup that you see in the video.
Dude i got same features m4 pro 48 gb except nano texture. After i used 1 week, macbook is significantly fast but i noticed small . even my friends old macbook air or pro watever versions didn’t gave same errors . When i called apple they did diagnostic test but nothing appeared. I was suspicious about 48 gb ram maybe it was too much for 14cpu 20 gpu 1tb version and asked a lot apple workers also customer service but they didn’t think that was the problem. But i had watched a video on youtube. A man custimezed to 128 gb ram max m4 chip and he got some program shutdowns . So i am not sure what was wrong but i think there are some problems on m4 macbook pro laptops
Are you not in your warranty period?

@@NightVsKnightlooks like you got a dud. Wonder if you could just return and purchase another…

Avg mac monent
? Care to back up your comment with anything useful? I am a little skeptical to believe that the average Mac user runs into this.
