No point in studying law in Switzerland, most jobs require fluency in multiple european language which locals excel in, international companies outsource such jobs to other cheaper countries.

Hey it is the law, you are expected to takr care of yourself with your own funds, since the university fee is low.
Can you please clarify one thing? Does non-EU student's Phd time counts in PR? Say I studied for 4 years phd. If I stay 8 more years (as study time counts as 1/2), will I be eligible to apply for PR (C)?
The years will be counted only if the student time is followed by a independent work contract/job ,separate from PhD. PhD are considered to be students you cant get a PR based on that.

@@thoseeyes0 after completing your PhD, find a job(no part time or small odd jobs) get a independent permit based on the job for minimum 2 years and then the years spent previously as a student would count towards a PR.

You get 6 months to find a job, once you get it an yearly permit is issued as long as you have a job, only once you have PR in 10 years you can do other things.
