Beyonce has a very distinct voice. I've never heard anyone who sounds like her. Please get into her recent album Cowboy Carter. It's a country album and i dare say its her best work yet. Also i have a feeling you guys will really enjoy her renaissance album.

This was years before her solo acting gig in Austin Powers Goldmember. She was 19-20 in 2000

Beyoncé wrote the song and her dad snuck it to execs without her knowledge, then they would’ve added the Charlie’s Angels parts

She did not write this. Why y’all always saying she wrote a song when the credits say otherwise?

@@damiankeyes8715 do you know how credits work lol the others who are credited are the producers. They also said she wrote the song. They told the story about her writing the original (Independent Woman Pt. 2). That’s the version Mathew snuck to the label. However they didn’t like the original version and hired those producers. The label wanted to bring another songwriter in to rewrite the song, but the producers told Beyonce to just do it. It’s all very well documented.

@@damiankeyes8715she literally said she wrote it in a Documentary. She said she heard the Stevie Nicks beat and said it reminded her of a voluptuous woman and she went in the studio and wrote this song. Her dad snuck and submitted the track for the Charlies Angels soundtrack. So where are you getting your facts from?

great rule of thumb for how to pronounce “beyhive”: how do you pronounce her actual name?
also, yes, independent women pt. 2 does exist and is on the same album that pt. 1 is on, “survivor” (2001). part 2 is actually the original version of part 1.

She was always the lead singer the group and down the line you should react to one of her movies, I suggest Cadillac Records where she played Etta James or her movie Obsesses where she stars with Idris Elba.

Beyonce's father was the manager of the group, so of course Beyonce was lead vocalist.
Mathew would try to push the focus mostly on Bey, and yes some of the group got swapped out, but Kelly has been with Bey since the very beginning. They're childhood best friends.
She would be the one with the short hair who takes lead on a song sometimes.
Kelly has had some great songs. I'd take a dive into her catalog. A lot of it is dance & EDM music, but she has some great ballads too.
No doubt your dirty little minds will enjoy her videos. Kelly has the star power like Beyonce, but was done wrong.
Her music career was sabotaged due to the fact that record execs were trying to use colorism with black females back then.
If you were too dark, they weren't promoting you enough, but rather spent more attention on black artists that were lighter in skintone.
But no matter what...especially after they broke up the group, the girls always support each other.
Michelle switched gears and went to Gospel music. Her first single and biggest solo hit featured both Kelly and Beyonce, because they wanted to support her career.
Any mile stone bucket list Beyonce does, she always bring the other 2 up with her to be a part of the experience.
The girl group had changed it's name at least twice before renaming it what it is now.

You try to tell me you dont know the song Nelly ft Kelly Rowland Dilemma are serious number 1 song everywere and lets be honet Destinys Chils was set up to make Beyonce the star. She was the leadsinger. Her dad knew what he was doing he wanted all people to see his daugther, he was the Manager of the group. I mean she is talented Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams too but he knew how to make them shine less its a marketing strategie. The father knew what he was doing

I guess you guys don't care for the real soulfoul rhythm and blues that sounds like gospel music, but do remember, rock and role stems from R&B. You probably won't like Mary J Blige's music her music is very soulful. Just watch Beyonce and stop critzing R&B please, thanks. This just prove that you never watched Beyonce because you "assumed" her music was the R&B that you don't like, good for you that you are opening your minds.

Beyoncé was much more than the lead singer; Destiny's Child was HER group. I'm old enough to remember the first appearances, and how the group got heat because it wasn't that great; Beyoncé exchanged members, changed styles, got slapped again, changed again, came back ... and she _learned_ ... incredibly fast, and she _trained_ incredibly hard. She was no Disney princess like Britney, Christina, Miley, did not have a major company backing her - she had to do everything by herself, usually learning it the hard way, before she became what she became.
And _that_ is why she has my deepest respect, not because of her great music and performer qualities, but because from where she came and how she achieved her success.
