The skyboxes look amazing. You can even see some witches flying during the end portion of the game.

11:43 WTF was that pull chain Mike pulled down from above the frame? I'm guessing he added the goofy sound effect in post production... Or was that cord actually hooked up to a speaker in the room, rigged to play the horn sound? Either way, bravo good sir.
I had no idea who Gianna Michaels was, so when I did a google image search for her, one of the pictures on the first page is a picture of her and Tony.

At around 32 minutes, Tony said ok google to look up how long the game is. I have a note 9, it left the video and Google assistant came up on my phone. That's not creepy or nothing. These phones have a mind of there own! Lol this game looks great, going to have to check it out for myself at some point.
Apparently this one ranks up there with Virtual Springfield, in terms of quality Simpsons game adaptations. I'm not aware of any attempts to design a coherent map of Springfield where locations exist in a specific relation to each other, apart from Virtual Springfield and this game.

I love how Crystalis for the NES is Mike's vision of the stereotypical game that an awkward nerd would ask about at a con... It's funny because it's TRUE! Great fucking game tho! Both The Simpsons Hit & Run AND Crystalis!
This is a cool game that I somehow missed the first time around. Ditto with the 2007 Simpsons Game. I wonder who the main customers are for these games. Are they people who tune into the modern "zombie Simpsons" product that airs during the time slot of The Simpsons? Or are they fans of the best show in the history of television, which ran from roughly 1989-1996? You can tell this game was made by fans of the "old school" Simpsons, and that is very much a GOOD thing!

Yes! Please make this a series. You've seen the worst Simpsons games, it's time you got to play the best one. Hit and Run is the first game I got when I got my GameCube. Definitely one of my favourite games of all time.

Mike, have you ever tried Maximo on PS2? It's by the same author of Ghouls'n Ghosts, a very straight forward action game with substance in gameplay and level design.
He did play Maximo vs. Army of Zin.
