I always plant 3 trees to a hole in about a18 inch triangle. An early Peach, mid season and late season, for example. Or persimmon: coffee cake, fuyu and chocolate.

Lee jujubee doesn't require a pollinator. Mine produced about a thousand last summer with no additional trees or suckers.
