No wonder Kintaro has so many scars now. He was dragged around by Gentaro trying to tell Mom how much he wanted to be with him and Mom trying to protect him. It's a miracle he doesn't have more. LOL. Love this family. Kintaro and Gentaro remind me of my two sons wrestling. There were 4 yrs difference in my 2 sons ages. My oldest boy got the best of little bro until, little bro turned 16 and was stronger than big bro at 20. Yes, they still wrestled at that age. The last time they wrestled at age 17 and 21, young bro body slammed big bro to the ground, and big bro gained a new respect for little bro. They never wrestled again.

Poor Gentaro is such a meany. He's really quick with those cheap shots. Kintaro is going to grow up and kick his butt.
These are older clips, their family dynamic has changed a lot since then.This was back when Kinny could hardly stand or walk without falling over ever few steps or seconds. His mother barely had time to take her eyes off of him for fear that Gentaro would steal him away and hurt him (which he never meant to do anyway). It has all worked out for the best and Kintaro is a tough little bugger and Genatro is a good role model and a good big brother who has taught Kinny a lot in the past year and a half.
Still love seeing Kintaro at a younger age. I don’t want him to grow up. He has such personality😂😅😅😅🥰🥰🥰
I totally believe that... but I don't think GENTARO would intent on hurting him...I think he wanna play with kintaro and mom an dad step in like leave that baby alone I tell you 😂...and I think he wanted to take kintaro and play with him by himself...I don't think he would kill him like wild gorilla's in Africa or an enclosure penned in with a dozen full grown male silverbacks...so it's more a sibling gesture to take kintaro away to play but his intentions isn't to hurt but to get away from mom an dad but chancing little brother will get hurt in the process... GENIUS!!!! Simply genius!!!!

BUT WHATS AMAZING IS THAT GORILLAZ ARE EARLIER FORM OF HUMANOID EVEN BEFORE CHIMPANZEES.. BECAUSE THEY CAME AFTER...THE GORILLAZ MIND IS SMALLER THAN CHIMPS... GORILLAZ DONT SINGLE OUT A MALE IM THE GROUP..GORILLAS ARE FAIR...FEMALES ARE EXCELLENT MOTHERS LIKE ORANGUTANS... BUT CHIMPANZEES BRAIN IS MORE DEVELOP THAN GORILLAZ AND EVEN SHOW RACIST TENDENCIES TO GORILLAZ IN DIFFERENT ENCLOSURES!!! CHIMPANZEES ARE BUILT MORE LIKE HUMANS AS GORILLA'S ARMS ARE JUST BEGINNING TO EVOLVE TO UPPER LIMBS INSTEAD OF FOUR LEGS... BUT CHIMPS ARE BUILT MORE LIKE US.. UNCANNY STRENGTH... Love the replay in slo mo. Hard to believe Kintaro survived all that looting, but it made him the super strong little guy he is. Terrific music for this video

Kintaro is cute 6 months ago with wobbly legs. Gentaro was just bored. Not anymore, he’s now got his playmate Kintaro. Hopes he’s not reaching silver back soon cause he’s little brother needs him.
I believe to have read male gorillas become silverbacks at around 13 years of age🤔

I can see how many more plants and trees are in the enclosure now compared to when this was taken. The landscapers have managed to do a pretty good job of making the place look more jungle like with lots of thick undergrowth, despite Gentaro's campaign to uproot everything. In these old videos the place looks so bare.

I too have two sons and they are very reminiscent of my boys. The oldest wanted so bad for the baby to play with him and didn't realize baby wasn't gonna be able to play for a long time. Gentaro is def a bit jealous though.

😂😂😂 Gentaro was just toughening up his little brother. Today, at 20 months old, Kintaro is probably the toughest baby gorilla around. Just watch current vids of him wrestling with his big brother. Oh, and watch him swing along the top of the enclosure, and hang with one arm 😂😂😂 tough lil nut!

I wonder what Kintaro thought when this would happen? Was he scared the brother would hurt him on purpose, or think it was a game (since I'm guessing he wasn't really hurt since mom got him back quickly), or be startled but not scared? Thank goodness they have much stronger arm muscles and bones than humans, and can rotate their arms almost 360 degrees while hanging from a branch which is probably why Kintaro wasn't hurt. I'm sure being drug on the ground wasn't fun though, lol. Momotaro was pretty useless. He should've disciplined Gentaro. When the father doesn't discipline a thug older son they get worse and hurt people, just like with these gorillas.

Gentaro es muy inmaduro.
Mom knew if she made the right sound, dad would show up and possibly hurt the bigger son. To me, that’s why she just cased after him, instead of calling for dad. But, by the time he realized something was going on, mom had corrected it..or..lights out son!!!
I agree, Momotaro can get real aggressive real quick especially with food I have seen.
