Hey again! Thanks for the mention in the video - and especially for pronouncing my (nick)name correctly, Clang! 😎I was just pointing out that David's actions weren't all that great, either - but when compared to Oscar Tanchingco, one cannot really lose. I know very well that there's no love lost between David and Joi. 😉
I had seen that episode once before, about three months ago - and needed to pause after that for a few weeks, as this one was hard to bear. Oscar was unbearable as always (he needs to be run over by a truck asap), grandpa wasn't better deceiving and essentially abducting his wife. And everyone else just fell in line. On Althea's end, I can understand that Batchi wants her to move on, but Wila once went way overboard. But the show has to fill 65 episodes, so not everything can move along as quickly as it has so far, or they'll run out of story soon.
This whole family dynamic is really foreign to me - having grown up in Germany (and of course, not in a rich neighborhood), I have nothing to compare the Tanchingcos to (apart from period dramas), neither in my own family, nor in any other families I know. Then again, living so close to each other is also not really a thing in my family - apart from my mum and dad (and my sibling), everyone lives at least 400km away, some of them even in other countries or on other continents.
Jade probably wished she had followed Paul's advise and left the family home - congratulations, Oscar, you pushed your daughter over the edge. I for one am just glad the episode is over and done with, and I am looking forward to your next reaction which should be much more enjoyable. I will continue watching with the show - I'm currently still at episode 14, so I don't know what else might happen down the line that you might want to skip, but as long as I keep on watching the show, I'll join in with you as well to get a different perspective on things. So, till the next one! 😄

I so agree with you. There was only one pleasant thing in this video and it was very much Jade's make-up. Very well done! Well, i should say two...your reaction was the other. haha. Thanks for the self harm trigger warning before you reacted to this episode. Very much needed. Kudoos also to you ladies for putting a link for the crisis and support helplines. All kidding aside, though this is a fictional story, unfortunately, in real life, attempted suicide and suicide happen more often than we would like to think for people struggling with not only dealing with being in a family like the Tanchingcos but just society's pressures, prejudice and judgements of being in the LGBTQ+ community. As sad as it is, these things do happen in real life but we hope people and especially family members will be kinder and more accepting. 🩷🩷🩷
