After my divorce in 2017, God showed me in different ways HE wanted me to stand for the salvation of my husband and the restoration of my marriage! I have been standing for 7 years waiting for God's promises to be fulfilled! This testimony brought me hope and reassurance in God's promises! PRAISE GOD! There is nothing impossible for Him! Satan is a defeated foe! Another family restored! I pray that all families that had been broken by the enemy be restored in the name of the Lord! I pray for more couples to fight for their marriage! I pray that Pastors will join God in the business of saving marriages. Too many families are falling into the enemy's trick. We need to wake up and fight for our family!
My husband divorced me after 40+ years of marriage and married another woman. It’s like I snd our children are dead as he is living a wonderful new life with his new wife and her son . I continue to remain faithful to God, my vows and pray for my husbands salvation. It’s been 10 years now and there is no change in my husband and he is happy in his new life .
Going on 6 yrs standing for restoration. God please bring my wife to the pigs trough. You are MORE than able to do above and beyond what i ask or think. Blessed be His Holy name!!!
There is a really helpful book you can find online : First Aid for a Wounded Marriage by Marilyn Phillips. It is out of print but you can find it and read it online in a blog. It is very practical, biblical and encouraging for anyone standing and believing God for restoration.
I confess I have an issue with anger, sadness, control, bitterness, and lustful thoughts and actions. God help me and please forgive me!!! God restore our marriage!! Help my unbelief
In short: no. Remarriage can only take place with the previous spouse or if that same ex spouse passes. God takes marriage very seriously, so if you’re going to marry, let the lord choose for you.

What God has joined together is only separated through death.. 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 [10] To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. [11] But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife. All Glory to Almighty God in Christ Jesus name through the Power of His Holy Spirit Amen.
