New Wheel Bearing & Hub Assembly from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ASH...
This video shows you how to install a new wheel hub and bearing on your 2011-2018 RAM 2500. Not only can a worn wheel bearing or hub be annoying if it is noisy or vibrating, but it can also lead to accelerated wear in other parts, or unsafe driving conditions. Replacing your worn bearing or hub with a quality TRQ part is a safe, smart, decision.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:

Just so all of you know this technique worked fine on one side but the other side was welded rusted and wasn't coming off thankfully I had a puller and using the puller and my impact wrench she came right off but that was after about 45 minutes worth of banging with a hammer and no luck

How do you access that top bolt on the hub assembly with a lift? Gotta remove the sway bar?

so easy a caveman can do it.. LOL.. Was reading on another site when you do the axle nut to torque first to 163 ft lbs spin the mounted tire 3-4 revelations then torque to 263. something about seating the bearings properly before final tighten.. thanks for very to the point with good lighting and sound. A+++

Any other tips for getting that disc off? Mine is stuck in there pretty good. No amount of hammering between the studs seems to shake it loose. Thanks, great vid.

In the video you said your torque wrench only goes to 250 foot pounds. Did you use a different torque wrench for the brake caliper and the axle nut since they require a higher torque?

I’m new to all this I do have every tool I need except an impact unfortunately stolen. So I’m looking into a ingersol 1/2 inch pneumatic rated at max 500ft ib of breaking torque. This should be plenty to break loose everything correct? Yes for torquing to spec I do have a new and recently calibrated torque wrench which is up to 250ft ib. I’m completely new to this never had anyone to teach me growing up but am willing to learn my self to get this done on my 4th gen. But this should be plenty of torque correct?

One last thing I heard the torque spec of the axle nut is 230 then I see some say 269? Which is correct. If it’s 269 I’ll just go buy a higher rated torque wrench get it calibrated if needed.

Do not buy these. They are junk. I got about 50k miles out of mine. Also when I installed them I had abs code. Looked into it and my passenger side speed sensor wire was cut under one of the rubber sleeves for securing. I run hotshot freight and do about 7k to 10k miles a month. I'm down now and will need replace my driver side in the morning. I'm glad my wheel did not come off.
