Small room, almost a single in size, with about half the hanging space as normal in the wardrobe and no door. Interesting to see where the cases would go when you pull out that luggage rack.

Hey Tez, firstly thank you for the videos you have taken, am sure all concerned like myself are very appreciative of them. Secondly apologies to you and all if this comment is long. Can you confirm that the plug sockets have Micky Mouse style ears on each top corner? As my wife and I know from previous stays that sockets were limited as we took cheap pound land style multiple socket extensions to meet our needs? Must agree with yourself and others that wardrobe space is POOR. Bathrooms are much improved though. Lack of draw space is bad. As for the safe!! Will wait and see. Nice to see the water features on the ground floor are now planted areas. BUT where is the so called swim up pool bar? Lol
I have never heard the socked called Micky Mouse before but at the top of the sockets there are both USB and USC ports and I will point out when charging my laptop bot these ports are slow charging ports which maybe ok if you are charging a phone over night but too slow for the laptop. As for the bathroom I feel the shower screen glass is not wide enough and when using the rain shower the water splashes onto the bathroom floor and you will need to put a towel on the floor. This is only my opinion.

This is just a basic double room I think there are larger rooms but they will cost more, there are also several rooms with a splash pool which is nice but I would not pay extra for it when there is a fantastic swimming pool.

Hi Chris thank you for your kind consideration it is very much appreciated, I am sorry you are not enjoying your stay at this hotel, I feel it was opened too soon because there are so many areas unfinished. I have the food videos which I will publish tomorrow and I personally don't enjoy cold food on the other side the staff are excellent and made me feel welcome and it must be very frustrating form them when everything is not right. I understand this opening was always going to have teething issues and I will be revisiting the hotel later in the year to see if it has improved, thank you again for your comment and take care. Tez.

I agree, extremely poor storage and I wouldn't be happy that my clothes aren't behind proper wardrobe doors. Rather disconcerting that the room key opens the safe? I assume the pass keys used by staff don't have this ability?
My wife said there was not enough storage for the kitchen sink she as packed! As for the safe the maids keycard is programmed differently to the room card and will Not open the safe.
There is a long mirror in the room but my wife says there should have been another one at the side of the TV. There is a large mirror in the bathroom though and the hair drier in in a black bag under the sink.
Nice rooms! Surely if the maid can access your hotel room with their key, they can very easily access your safe if there's no number combination on them 🤔
I have the answer for you. The maids door key will not open the safe they are coded differently but what I will say you will need 2 room keys because if you only have one and it's in the key card electric slot you will have to remove it to open the safe! That is ok when it's light but not good in dark evenings.

I know you say they're not able to open the safe as they're coded differently, I'm just not sure if I could 100% take their word for it, especially with all the valuables that we all take on our holidays. Also, in some hotel rooms (not all) that I've stayed in, the key card electric slot will take any card that's in your wallet, negating the need to put the actual hotel room key into the slot. I'd never risk using one of my credit cards as I wouldn't want to lose it, but it's worth a try with an old card. Whenever it works it means that I can keep the air con on while I'm out.

My thoughts too, and also i dont like the fact all my things are on show , will have to keep a lot of stuff in my suitcase. Not good enough for a 5 star hotel. Really dont like this safe set up either, makes me nervous to keep stuff in there knowing the hotel can access it!
Priced the suite with small plunge pool ....£500 per night for 2 adults bed and breakfast ...Even reception staff at Cleopatra were laughing when I showed the price on their website...😮

I agree not enough storage space and no draws apart from 2 little ones in the wardrobe. Everything is on display! Defo not enough cupboards and wardrobe space for me and my adult daughter. Stayed in Cleopatra last year and there was loads more storage space there!

OK if you're on your own, but think a couple would find it a bit cramped. Also, not liking the fact that people in the next rooms can see over the balcony divider.

The maids key is coded differently to the room key so they can not access the safe. I understand the sitting down to do your makeup.

Some of the rooms are still being finished like the plunge pool rooms and could have viewed them had they been finished.
Room looks good but I didn't realise how small they are.😮
This is just a basic double room I think there are larger rooms but they will cost more, there are also several rooms with a splash pool which is nice but I would not pay extra for it when there is a fantastic swimming pool.

Like everyone to small the old rooms were bigger and more hanging space you need a dressing table for women for make up not a work table from IKEA

Not enough storage space for me and my daughter! Normally there are bed side tables with draws and draws underneath the dressing table area.

I think it was originally built in the eighties when room standards were different from today .
The rooms are on the small side but there suites available.
