Great vlog Tez,the reception and just general area looks beautiful and really fresh, all the years ive been visiting this area of Las Americas i never reatgere was a tunnel between the Med Palace and the Cleopatra under the walkway.
Hey Tez, once again thank you for taking the time to do an update video. Shame work is still taking place in certain areas, like other comments it should all have been finished off before any kind of opening, I mean for heaven sakes they were closed for 18 months!! Anyway we arrive on Friday lunchtime, anyone there then who fancies meeting for a bevvy or three?
Thanks again Tez … in my opinion I think the public areas are much nicer than the standard room you are in ( I was surprised they didn’t put a sliding door on the wardrobe & given more space for storage unless it was for a single person ) Looks stunning at night Great tour around x👍👍
Thanks Tez for the reception video that’s great…shame they have removed the huge three chandeliers that hung from the ceiling to the lower floor ..missing the water and fountains, statues as well …all plants now! Looking forward to seeing your restaurant vid x
Looks good, but nothing out of this world. The price should be way less considering its not 100% finished and 100% staffed. I won't be paying the current over hyped over inflated prices. The location is very good, i must say. I look forward to staying here once the hype has dropped off and inturn the price as well
Great insight into the new hotel. Whats your honest opinion Tez, I know you said its not 5 star but would you say it was a mid to high 4 star? Can I be cheeky and ask how much you paid for your stay?
It should not have opened before it was finished. The trouble is they will get some bad reviews as a result. Such a shame to have invested so much money and open a hotel that would have looked more busy during lockdown than it does on your video Terry. Unless of course there has been an apocalypse in Tenerife I am not aware of 😂
All hotels will have a soft opening ( normally a couple of months) I walk past today and that pool area was empty at 3pm. No kids in water park, only about 10 loungers with towels. That’s part of the reason we never book a brand new hotel as you never get the full experience, place will be empty and all the facilities won’t be open.
@@graemefrancis3088 I agree and I don't think they were offering any major discount for going in the opening weeks. I could be wrong, but not heard anything, it just seems very expensive!
It is very quite here when I checked in on Monday there was only around 50 people including children around the pool and I suspect around 50% were from the Cleopatra next door because they were allowed to use the pool. It will get more busy as time goes on. I feel the hotel should have been opened up floor by floor starting at 6th floor but only after the hotel staff had spent a few days in each room to iron out the issues before the guests came. The TV did not work in my room and too be fair it was not an issue for me but the next did not have a working toilet which is a problem not an issue, both these are now fixed. All this dissatisfaction could have been avoided.
Thanks for the tour Tez . You've scored a major scoop getting in there before the big guns .
It was always my intention to be the first!
Roll on september...
Brilliant video cheerd
Enjoy your upcoming holiday.
Hi Tez thanks for the upload. It's looking very nice. cheers

Thanks for the 4 videos of the Med Palace, Tez. Very informative. Impressive public areas .. but room looks disappointing.. bit small
Maybe the plunge pool room will impress.

Give it time to settle in, nice grounds. 😎
I aggree Ian.
Looks Great
Wonder when the Cleo will shut for refurbishment
Very soon I think. Its been noted on some holiday firms warning people before booking- of the noise that will be heard Mon to Fri at the med Palace.
The most of the money has been spent on the Med Palace so I can not see major work taking place on the Cleopatra it will possibly just be a make over.

I don't know it the prices will go up or down but time will tell.

This room was £151 per day, I think when all the work is finished it will be a great 5* hotel.
what's the food like Tez will you be doing a review
I need to upload the evening meal and the breakfast soon.
Was it the 1st main hotel built on the island Tez
Sorry no The Gran Tinerfe Costa Adeje is around 52 years old this year.
@@tenerifetez thanks for putting me right

How much did you pay Tez ?
£151.00 per night half board.
Has it been this dead for the past two days?
Longer than that.
