God Edward’s life before being a pirate always pulls on my heart especially when he says “don’t give up on me Caroline, not when I need your faith the most” and when he says/yells in the hallucination “you left when I needed you the most”

I read the Ac4 book, it shows that Edward wanted to be rich for Caroline causes she left her wealthy life for him. Also, Edward is not a womaniser compared to the Ac trailers. He remained a loyal husband at West indies.
The game also implies this too. There's a scene where Edward is talking to, I want to say Hornigold before he betrays them, and Hornigold says something akin to: "You keep fawning over one lass back in Bristol when you could have your choice of any betty right here and now." And Edward responds that he's not that kind of man.

Edwards life, as an anology of course, is so much like a real life. First, he left his primal family, his original home, to seek fortune, himself, his life. Lying to them and himself that he will return. On his way, he met new family, found a new home, but he had to chase whatever he believed is his goal to the point, where he lost everything and everyone he gained along his way. And only then, when he had nothing to lose and nowhere to return, he started a new family, provided home and 'found what he was looking for', because he had no more reason to go seek something in the world.
The Kenway’s have such a tragic outcome. His daughter was forced to work in a brothel I think, his son became a Templar, Connor ended up getting divorced and had to watch his people slowly die off…. Just sad asf
The Kenways did not have a happy course. Edward lost a wife who loved him for who he was and was happy with him because of his inability to appreciate what he already had, lost all his friends to life and betrayal, found a new family and lost them when he was betrayed and murdered by a trusted friend who he did not realise was the Templar Grand Master. Haytham lost his father, mother and sister, became a Templar, stayed one and died at his own son's hands because he couldn't let go of the Templar cause even after he found out how much it ruined his life. Jennifer Scott lost her mother, father, stepmother and brother and was sold into sexual slavery by her betrothed, endured years of degradation and lived the rest of her days as a bitter and resentful spinster. And Connor............ he lost his mother, father, mentor, best friend, village and entire people, but found love in time and had children and lived happily with them.

Why don't they make films based on the Assassin's creed series of games? I would be so glad to see a film adaptation of this game, such well-staged scenes and dialogues, this is art. Everyone watches movies, but not many people know about this game, then why not make a good movie?
I doubt they could fit it into a movie. These are around 10-15 hour adventures with a lot of travel, characters, and worldbuilding. I haven’t seen the one movie they did make but I’m guessing the reason they wrote something totally new was to avoid that issue. It could definitely work as a series though. Apparently there’s a few coming from Netflix in the future. I’d love if they took us through Edward’s time in the British Brotherhood and maybe getting Matt Ryan back to play him, so much potential

Third BUT INSTEAD HE FOUND HIM SELF❤
Brad pitt should take Edward james kenway role that would be so sick
6:05 an experienced sailor loses his balance on board but a girl in long dress doesnt.

I blame the rum.

Parting Glass only made a great ending into one of that of true beauty.
All men in this world want decent life and me. 😔
It fucking upsets me how haytham turned out he seemed like a nice kid
This is why Edward is a better character then Connor! He had humanity to him he was a person!
Connor was a machine

This is also in the books :)
I can see that his heart is sort of in the right area but the way that he goes about it is bad

What flower appeared in THE SCENE ??!
Why don't they make films based on the Assassin's creed series of games? I would be so glad to see a film adaptation of this game, such well-staged scenes and dialogues, this is art. Everyone watches movies, but not many people know about this game, then why not make a good movie?
There’s already a shite movie,and I doubt they’d be able to make movies based off all the games
I’d love if they took us through Edward’s time in the British Brotherhood and maybe getting Matt Ryan back to play him, so much potential
ac4 story is great
His wife had no faith in him and even walked out on him. No wonder he stayed in the West Indies longer than what he promised.
Idk what is but edward remains me of thor
God i wish Edward didn't die
why does the daughter seem so hostile all of a sudden? just age i’m assuming?
If Edward was alive stil he’d put shay in his place he had a reason to be the way he was but in ac3 he went to far this is why templars don’t need all thst power because they it to far
Goddamn Caroline is a keeper for staying with Edward when he's just a farmer but i understand Edward pov, what man wants his girl living in poverty? Too bad Edward's too focused on the observatory hunt, he should've bail when Nassau's gone since he's already rich anyway
How much do you fear.
6:04 ???
Little haytham is adorable shame he became a templar
cool cod profession aside Haytham became a sly but intelligent man so he was still the enemy of the assassins but remained a moral indervidual

Did Caroline die or that the same woman
@The real Brendan c
And yes, Caroline died not long after giving birth to Jenny.
so sad that he got murdered
1:05 wat so funny?
Jennifer "Scott" sounds like Sophie Turner.
So Caroline wasn’t the mother?
@The real Brendan c
Caroline was Jenny's mother, but not Haytham's. In fact, the reason that Caroline is hiding behind the door in the one scene in the video is because she's very pregnant and doesn't want Edward to know.
why that?@@Sevvina

So how did caroline die?
I think she died to a disease
@Jenn Elizondo
Tweed Ghost is correct. Caroline died of smallpox in 1720.
Sevvina check this out. Caroline’s father knew she was sick but never got her medicine because she refused to marry a man that he picked out for her after Edward left.
