Pet affordability crisis strains pet pantry

Sharon Miko, President and CEO of the Ottawa Humane Society, says she’s seen a 50 per cent rise in its pet food bank usage this year because of what she terms a “pet affordability crisis.”

What a great program. I wish there was more government support for things like this as well. It's depressing how many people are struggling and feel the need the abandon their animals due to that.
