Bought mine 2019, still the best phone I've ever had. 7.2" inch screen, no slowdown, no lag, battery has finished since day 1 which would last 2 days but now lasts for a solid day, so that's loads of browsing, TH-cam several hours videos, music Bluetooth earphones, I can't complain. Hope it never expires. Not to negate your usage/performance issues but that's going to vary from person to person.
I had Mate 20x from year 2020 till now 2024 for my main daily phone usage. Work well on photos, online bankings and chatting.. Good for elder ages as screen is big and easy to tap messages.
I got one in Jan 2020, still love the huge display of it. The camera too is superb. So is the sound quality. Before that I had a xiaomi mi max 2 and I am disappointed that there are no new handsets in this size to come. But there are now no new updates and I worry about security. I think the battery has always been a weakness too. If I could get that replaced I will alsó get bigger memory card and it will be my movie and textbook and picture and book library. I now have a galaxy s22 ultra too, which is rugged and powerful with a more sophisticated display, more pixeles, that will be for skyping and business in generál. It feels small compared to my Huawei 20X rhough.
The Mate 20X is my first cellphone & was purchased in November 2020. Still works great. Fingerprint reader stopped working a while back, but recently it asked if I'd like to set it up again. I declined. Takes great pictures! Excellent screen resolution & colour saturation; much better than Apple!!! Battery life is still strong like day one, charge it between 40% & 85%. Battery last over 2 days, ALWAYS allow battery to cool before charging with 5V/2A charger only. Never been dropped. Do not look forward to a replacement. Definitely a collector's item!
Still a nice phablet smartphone for me I've been using it for the past 4-5 yrs now I love it so much that I even got the 5G version of it unopened and concealed
I got one from gizchina so it's a Chinese version so I'm on harmony os 4 and now I'm having less problems updating my Google apps . But like you say there's no alternative other than the Vivo and it doesn't look like there going to bring out a another 7 inch phone , I don't like the skinny long phones so I'll keep this till either one comes out or foldable become much more affordable
Purchased my Mate20x in 2019. Unmatched till date, also worried what if this stops working coz no handset has the same screen size apart from expensive foldable ones. I request Huawei to launched more 7+ inch size phablets in future and also WANT Huawei to come back to India again...
HI Mane is darryl i bought the mate 20x since 2022 i been using it ever since i love it i love it so much i dont care about no other phones im buying it again the reason why im buying it again because i huawei mate 20 x giving me problem
My HONOR X 10 Max 5G, with 7'02 inch, being released in 2020, beats Mate only on battery being 5000mh and 1g lighter and slightly slimmer, but on the rest and overall.the Mate wins! So if in 2024 if there is no bigger and stronger release, on one screen(not folded) i will swap.with Mate, as i need that!
I think both are good choices, and are equally comparable. The cameras are still decent on both phones especially on the LG if you know how to use Manuel mode properly. They both have headphone jacks as well as an IR blaster. The main difference is that the Huawei have bigger screen, and battery life is way better on it. I used to have to carry around a battery pack when I had my LGV60.
@@jermainemouzon4909I think the LG V60 would be a better option. The Huawei may have a bigger screen and better battery life, but the LG v60 got Android 13 while the Mate 20X will always be on Android 10.

Just bought yesterday from used phone seller. It is superb phone. Still running smoothly.
I just bought a new one to go with my S23U. I find myself using the Mate 20x more. I have used Huawei phones ever since the Mate 8.
Me too ❤
Where did you buy it?

This has been my favorite phone 💪🏿
Great video!
I am using mate 20 X to watch your video, and it's awesome!
My 20X bought in 2018 Jan. Replace a new battery couple months ago. I washed it with soap under tap several times.

My favor phone,, I still have my
Huawei P20 Pro devices from 2018 and still use it until now and still meet the purpose
Is this still ok despite security updates being stopped 😮

watching on my almost complete feature device mate20x.
Im appealing to Honor to copy this and sell in cheaper price. 😅
Trying to decide between this and an LG V60 refurb.

Hi, is it still safe for bank transfers?
i use my bank app, no problem
Don't believe the hacking scare tactics. It's all a ploy to bring down Huawei
I had it before but after covid some of the apps stopped working and google apps won't work.
Now I want to buy one again but will I still have the same problem?
No. Android 10 is too ancient..lots of banking apps have stopped support for android 12 or below

No 4g voice call. So I have to give it up after 6 glorious years.
This phone will be a LEGENDARY
You criticise too much to the point that you're literally neat picking.
Meron pa kaya ngayon? Saan makakabili?
🎉shoppee po
Shopee pero 2nd hand na

'way too big to use' lol this is the best phone; best size, battery life, etc
Does it run Android Auto?
I'm still using mine. I might switch to vivo x note soon.😊 Switching because of my games.
I think S24 Ultra has slightly larger screen
The S24 Ultra is like a mini phone compated to the Mate 20X.
Is there any chance to root it and get the rid off Harmony OS?
