WOW ....wow...WOW !!! So many beauties ! The Rickenbacker 12-string is the apple of my eye today , then all the Hofner and Gibson arch tops , incredible ! Thank You !
Hey Guys! I think the player's grade 62 strat is my fave even though it does need some work! would love to own that! The 79 Black Custom Les Paul was cool too though!
Some lovely things indeed, as usual. I wonder how so many good, vintage guitars got separated from their original cases ? 🤔 The Guild D-25M is almost a golden brown colour.
Agreed! I know so many people that chuck original cases as they are “tired” for newer cases having no idea that they are worth something themselves…. !
@@GHguitarauctions Not even. No offense but I don't think you know who he is. It's like getting Mick Jagger's or Paul McCartney's name wrong. From '64 on the Kinks rivaled the Beatles, Stones and the Who as the top rock band of the British invasion. Ray's songwriting was above everybody else's and he wrote some of the best iconic songs of the era that still are played regularly today.
@@nigelsmith721 Just commenting on the speculation that the guitar originally left the factory in a left handed case. Beyond unlikely in my opinion and you can see the case has had another guitar in it at some point, most likely a left handed one!

Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it 🙂👍
Love vintage gear. Especially acoustic guitars. Look forward to this one.👌
Another enjoyable episode.
Awesome, vintage stuff!
Thanks for watching 🙂
Love Antigua, first time I saw one it was in the hands of Stuart Adamson immediately wanted one.
Thanks for watching 👌🙂
I saw them a few months ago and Bruce Watson is playing it now..for me it was the star of the show tbh!
I actually owned on of those. Got stolen In Portsmouth, OH after the band that I was a member of The Edge was opening for David Allen Coe.
Well done GH on this one.
If anyone has a desire for that 62 strat
draw a deep breath and have a go,we did and it's well worth it.
Thanks Darrin 🙌🏼
It’s a belt and belt buckle on the Gretsch Country Rick.
Hello from Toronto.
Hello for the UK 😄👍

😅
I learned to play on a 59 Hofner President!
Ace! Thanks for watching 🙂👌
When a guitar of your birth year is now called vintage 😢
Yeah…. Crazy! Thanks for watching 🙂👍
Think some Fender pedal steel guitars had a lever on the bridge to mute the strings which could be what was missing.
Good call 👌
Were there any 60s /70s Les Paul cases in that lot of 30 odd cases?
I don’t think so…. 🙁
Sorry to be a pedant , but I’m sure “JV” stands for Joint Venture. 😮😂
😉😄
It's not Ray DAVIS of the Kinks .... it's DAVIES ! How can you be in rock n roll and not know that?
It’s a West Country thing….

Pretty sure I do. Used to listen to the Kinks A LOT as a kid 😂. Thanks for watching and commenting though. Much appreciated 🙂👍
Ray DAVIS was just a bloke in the pub that had an epic joke going that culminated with him signing a guitar. No relation to Ray Davies of the Kinks.
😅 thanks for watching 🙂👍
No way that left hand case is original to the guitar. You can see the impression of a different guitar in the lining of the top!
The 62 strat
Explain please?
I like that players grade Strat. Hammer price say £7k plus buyers fees = circa £9k

Why Antigwa? The country is pronounced Anteega. Asking for a friend!
Because I pronounce everything wrong, apparently…. 😂
Please try not to say umm so much
