This is helpful! Maybe in the future, use fabric that is plain without patterns and also a contrasting thread. Such as plain white fabric with black thread..It makes it a bit more challenging to follow along with busy designs on the fabric.. Nevertheless Thank you!!

Thank you for the great pattern and tutorial, I’m making the 3 year old size. I have stitched the under collar together and when I have come to stitch it to the upper collar piece the under collar is about 1.5 cm shorter than the top collar piece. Is this correct, do you think I’ve done something wrong ? 😢 thank you

Yes, it sounds that way. Check the paper pattern pieces, and see if everything checks. Maybe the fabric has shrunk when you added interfacing?

The facing is a part of the tropical shirt pattern, so it's included there.
