I just followed your channel for a while. I like what you presented in the VDO and like to hear foreigners' opinions about Thailand. About the monkey, I don't know the reason why the monkey has been chained. But I guess it should be the same reasons why bulldogs have to be chained, Why snakes have to be locked in a cage, or even, why people have to be put in jail. There're always some reasons behind it, but we just don't know. If you have time, I asked you to visit Lopburi, the most famous monkey city. There, You'll see how monkeys live with people in Thailand.
