Ghost builds are great storage when traveling. Build a barrel stove but only put in the barrel or the sheet metal. Then cancel the build when you get where you're going. Same thing with Wilson and the scarecrow or the turtle shells and water collection. They won't fall off the raft if they are inside of a build recipes. 👍
Metal Sheets by raft: It looks like the dropped or place items are held back by built objects, you could build a kind of fence enclosure using boxes, tables and racks, then drop your stuff in the middle
One way to transport materials would be to put down a blueprint and add the material but don't finish building it. Then when you get home cancel the blueprint. All you materials will fall out. So for tires, add a raft piece that uses tires, add the tires but not the logs, go home and cancel the build.
Kudos on getting the 3 sharks in the inland waterway. I died many times trying. Even built two more smaller rafts and a wharf to try to get them. I think there was a large rock in the water on the other side of the island with a pirate flag flying from it and treasure with it.
That's the plane you crashed in. I had it wash up next to my base, and I was able to push it onto the beach. I was able to move barrels on my raft with a log holder in the back.
The plane you found on that beach is actually the plane you crashed in. It can wash on to shore on some occassions. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do with it...
I can drag my plane to the main island with the raft and every time I go outta render distance and back in it spawns where I crashed. I like hitting it with the hammer and it flips around lol
If you want to bring back resources that won't go in your backpack, you can put down a ghost image of something that needs said item (like a water collector for the turtle shell, or a raft base for barrel/tire), putting the item in it and once you're home just cancel the build and you'll get 100% of items back.
you can set stuff down on your raft and transport it across water. it will slowly slide back and ive had a wilson head roll right off so place it towards the front of the raft so you can stop and remove it to the front. good find with the chalice floating in the water, i only found 1 bp in the rocks on that island not much else.. it was the Hawaiian blueberry that gave more sticks and they dont rot on the ground. but some item has lagged the area around my base hopefully not those berries. hope they fix that soon
maybe building the raft longer, but don't put to much at the back could even out the weight , as the centre of gravity has got to be near the back of your raft at the moment. Also could you maybe build some, maybe drop boxes to corral the loose items they seemed to be going around your workbench not through anything
That lagoon with a building in the middle of it island is borked. Sharks come through the rocks/sand, and everything moves/despawns. I tried the leave the corpses trick from another of your videos, and they had despawned and new sharks came back right away.
gliched again and lost progress. thankfully i know all i did was transport metal scraps and electronics. dont put stuff next to bed where you get up, you sleep then save then get up, and stuck. btw you can transport a whole heap of scrap metal on deck, but the sailing trip takes double amount of time, which was still ok. i have eight sails. put stuff in middle of raft so doesnt fall off.
I bought this game, and I have to say,for a early acsess it playes really good with no major issues, atleast for me. For me personally this can end up beeing my all time survival or atleast very high up there 🙏 Keep up the good content Kage 💪

There's a collectable cup beside the car. No offense but you mess around too much. I dove down grabbed the cup. Got back on my raft. In one shot with little damage. Then got out of there.

The only shark that didn't despawn was the one that still had an arrow in it. Since you took all your arrows out the other two they despawned.

It's crazy how close other islands are to you. In my game they're so far away i can only see them far in the distance and only when it's sunny

I would have played around with the airplane to see if you could flip it upright and fix it.

your raft is back heavy you need to expand it in the front then remove the sails and replace them at the expanded front
I think you need to expand the raft. It’s super crowded. Maybe just two more wide and two in front like Catamaran style.

They gotta fix the sharks. For a start, sharks should be able to bite through structures. Second, they should be able to swim under the sand.
