My parents got divorced in the early 90s when i was just a kid. My life was absolutely awful, and my mom left and took everything and my dad, bro and i were forced to move into a musty old basement at my grandpas house that was straight out of the 50s. Totally beat down but we had a pool table that i slept on and played pool on, and an old black and white 13" zenith tv. Thats all i had in the world for a while and man, carrot top was on constantly. He turned a horrible time in my life into something i could find laughter in. Love that guy. He got me through some bad times.
I met him almost 20 years ago when I was working catering at charity benefit in NYC. He was very nice and was chatting with with the staff afterwards. As I shook his hand I told him I genuinely loved his "Chairmen of the board" movie when I was kid. Without missing a beat he says "Great! That brings it up to five whole people who did, but my mom doesn't count!". Haha
Carrot Top lives in my neighborhood of Las Vegas and I run into him everywhere! He's extraordinarily friendly and willing to take pics. I last saw him with his dog at the vet's. I wish him continued success!

I took my wife Susan to Carrot Top in Vegas at the Luxor. I have never seen her laugh so hard and so much. We were sitting close to the stage and sure that Carrot Top enjoyed her laughter. He is so clever with his props and up to date news props. If in Vegas he is a must see.

This whole segment had me in stitches.. I'm 33 years old and grew up as a kid hearing all sorts of this comedian and their choice or methods of entertaining. It is amazing and makes me laugh, helps to be in touch with society to get some of the puns or references, and if not.. you still get a laugh at the guy's movement and gesturing.
