Two things stand out: how beautifully even the instrument sounds from top to bottom, making legato so much easier, and the intonation....it's just incredible! Of course, the ease of playing pianissimo in any register is nice, too!

That's the glory of hard rubber, showing its manifest tonal and responsive superiority to wood clarinets: easy to play, easy to control, with a tonal beauty, consistency, and homogeneity no wood clarinet possesses---at any price.
Cost of the Libertas II---a fraction of the over-priced wood clarinets. The results: priceless.
Don't go on stage without one.

Lovely tone, liquid legato, good tuning, amazing dinamic range. Not only the instrument brand is important. Thank you Mr. Ridenour for so much artistry.

Hi Tom. Can you let me know what key lubricant you use? I know you've said engine honey or smoke be gone car oil additives work well. How did you know to try these? What's in them? Do I have to worry about corrosion of the steel or nickel when selecting a lubricant?
