Thanks Mark! This is a great comment. I’m also committed to being s life long learner. If you are in town it would be fun to meet up for a fishing session.
Great video! Do you have any suggestions on a good rod and reel set up? I want to start using a bait caster reel but I don’t have much knowledge about them. Thank you!
I literally just caught my first spotty last night in Sail Bay and was really excited. Moved into the area only a few months ago and started fishing again after about 20 years. Thanks for the tips, subscribed!
My philosophy as well, being on the water is a win. With my hobie drive I love the exercise and time alone or with friends. Catching fish is just a ritual bonus. There's a lot to be said for the intimate and personal freedom when on a yak.
Been fishing for about 6 months caught two halibuts no legals plenty of legal spottys but no legal hallis ima watch your videos on halibut and see what’s up thank you
Good info Roman. Even though I’m an old guy I really love learning EVERYTHING possible about the sport we love...

@@angelamicay8748 I went to the harbor for 2 days and was not able to get some spotties on lures but I got some calico and barred sand bass on bait.

#14 is a great tip. I have to try that. I shore fish and I hate clearing grass off my lure every cast.
